Tunneling/Networking/StaticIPs Question
Hello guys,
I'm not a tunnel expert guy, however, I would just like to know how you would go about doing this ...
You have VPS1 which has an ip of 50.63.21.11 and you have a PC at home with 192.168.1.53 + NAT. You would like to create a tunnel between the two, so that if anything is accessed on 50.63.21.11 it gets forward to 192.168.1.53 and so on.
Theoretically, take it for argument's sake that there wont be any firewalls.
I've read a lot, and saw many different ways. What would you go with, and why?
Regards,
R.

GRE, because you can forward all the ports, not just one.
@mnpeep @Zen however, when you go and setup the tunnel, you would require the external IP of each. And at the home PC, it is dynamic - constantly changing that would be painful.
Any ideas?
Hmm true... I will look into it guys. Thanks again
Just use any VPN tool like OpenVPN or Tinc to connect from home to the VPS, then forward ports on the VPS to your home PC's IP inside the VPN.
