Hi,
I know that is too much to ask.
But is there any company offering storage VPS that costs less than time4vps.
Location: EU.

No most likely not it's the cheapest I've seen in EU.
@cam246 might have a NAT storage special
Only one I know of is @cociu .
NAT will also work.

The difference is only a few cents.
Still if anyone knows of something else?
we had some problems in the last 3 weeks with the storage plans , but once we will finish with this problems we will put a cupon code of 30% off in all plans so if you are not in hunrry i am sure you will be content with the price/quality
That would be great.
waiting for your good news!
What kind of price are you looking for?
wtf, lower than time4vps, it's obviously
Allow me to rephrase.
What kind of PLAN are you looking for. i.e how much disk space and how much less than Time4VPS?
I didn't realize my question was so ambiguous!
Essentially Time4VPS do 1TB storage / 1GB RAM / 10TB traffic for EUR 5 /month. So how much disk space do you need and how much cheaper do you need it?
Does EUR 4.50 /month count as significantly cheaper?
Are you looking to pay monthly or other term? Paypal? BitCoin?
It's not so obvious to me.
Calm down, guys.
With same specs (1TB plan), $8/ 3 months may be?
Billing should be in USD.
$8 for 3 months is quite a bit less than their $13.4 they charge. That's a 40% discount over what is already a crazy cheap deal. And that's assuming you are not in the EU and not subject to VAT. Are you?
Realistically I don't see this being done for less than $12 per quarter. You would need over a year to break even on the cost of the drive alone at that kind of price.
I was using time4vps too but it was too slow for me. I switched to https://www.transip.eu/vps/
5euro/month for a VPS + 10euro/month for 2TB storage extension https://www.transip.eu/vps/big-storage/
Works great and much faster than time4vps
Lol I do like their support:
ah, finally someone using this :-)
could you please run @K4Y5's dl benchmark: https://github.com/K4Y5/ServerBench ?
many thanks in advance!
how is the big storage mounted to the VPS, as attached nbd or something like that?
also the 5€ vps is only first month, right?
Yep, and much more expensive €20 (1GB/2TB) vs €6-8 (2GB/2TB)
Not a VPS, but sia for storage could be cheap.
@Falzo Here is how you mount it https://www.transip.eu/question/100000709-how-big-storage-linux-vps/
First month yes. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

@bersy Yes, but down/up speed from OVH/Hetzner/Leaseweb EU to time4vps was too low. So if I lost all data and needed to restore the backups from time4vps, my sites would be down for days while I downloaded everything.
backupsy lost all of my data twice in the 6 months that I used them.
Kimsufi was only 100mbit.
online.net Dedibox SC had problems with their fans and HDDs (I think), that resulted in speeds under 500kb/s. Support said they dont know when it will be fixed.
So for this price I think transip has the best value, others are much more expensive. And I prefer to pay a bit extra and minimize any downtime.
thanks a lot! speeds are looking good.
I have to admit I didn't look at or even noticed their wiki entry for this before ... so they provide the storage as blockdevice, that's quite nice ;-)
obviously not to be compared to time4vps or zxhost but if one is looking for larger amounts, this might come in useful.
Is it possible to order storage product and mount it outside their network like hetzner's storage boxes? Assuming it's not from what I read, but just in case I miss something.
Both are same, as far I know.
Thanks for the tag!
I won't be able to get close to those prices unfortunately.
