I guess this is going to become a pain in YouTube's ass in coming days.

I like...but I don't care for downloading of applications to view streams. At least they have linux packages I guess.
Actually think of 2 years from now, This gets popular you can watch all the TV and Movies live here
TV shows will also have a lot of viewers thus it ll be hell fast.
Looks really good, I love the way Peer to Peering works already, live-streaming would just be a tip of the iceberg really. The only flaw I can see is the possible interception of the transmission, sending users incorrect data, alternative stream or even malicious files, but even then, I assume Bittorrent has that covered.
BitTorrent definitely has that covered, It can really challenge YouTube, and I am sure a lot of DMCA Stuff is gonna come at their office.
Adobe already went up this alley with RTMFP and I don't see any real wide adoption of it, even if it is specialist in nature.
The problem, AFAIC, is your average visitors won't want to install yet another plugin to view your content. And in the case of RTMFP, where they only need Flash, it seems like publishers just didn't buy in.
AFAIK there are a lot of P2P-based video streaming sites in China.
Tried it and it sucked. None of the streams they listed even worked, which I assume was because people have terrible internet, and to broadcast means that you have to upload 4 times as much as justin/twitch.
Wait I got it. We could pay for this and not have to seed.
