LeaseWeb 20 - 45% OFF
A good news from very solid provider (IMHO): 20-45% off all Instant Delivery Dedicated Servers, Cloud Stack, Virtual Server, Web hosting and CDN at LeaseWeb via https://www.leaseweb.com/20-years-of-leaseweb-sale
I had Singapore services with LeaseWeb and I must say they are all very solid and stable :-)

holy shit 20% off the vps
ordered 50
This is awesome, I was paying $35 for one of their dedis and I just got the same one with a better cpu for $27.99 with their sale - just waiting on delivery .
By the way, Prometeus will be 20 this month too

Singapore looks good, but then this thread came to me. Maybe it was bad luck though.
One of my LeaseWeb SG VPS has been very solid. Till now it has 455 days uptime (I restarted 455 days ago :-) ) and running several Java web applications there.
@nhocconan : Could you give looking glass in Singapore?
I only found http://leasewebnoc.com/en/lookingglass but didn't see Singapore
What CPUs do they use in the VPS?
Search for test file and you'll see.
mirror.sg.leaseweb.net
What location would be better for this stack?
Main server in Online. net FR, email - sendgrid, cloud storage - OVH GRA.
What location would be better for connectivity to these providers?
Amsterdam will give you lower latency for both OVH GRA and Online.
Awesome, I got 1Gbps port instead of the 100Mbps advertised lol, they only gave me 3 drives instead of 4 though so gotta open a ticket about that.
Meh. I'll wait for their hundredth birthday :P
Which one do you have ordered? Thanks!
Wow... How old are you now (j/k)? I think you must be a long-lived person :-)
I ordered the $27.99/month server in Washington DC - Intel Dual-core G850, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 4x500GB RAID10, and 10TB @ 100Mbps port.
They gave me a 1Gbps port instead which is super nice to me because I have another Leaseweb server that I really wanted to upgrade the 100Mbps port on. All drives look good too (around 10,000 hours) except for my missing 4th one lol.
Damn I really want one of the small VPS but they don't offer rescue access for it.
What do you mean by rescue access? The VPSes have a console and you can mount GRML rescue iso (I use it to do custom OS installs).
You can use pre selected ISOs.. and GRML rescue is one of it.

From what I have been told from their chat, for the small vps (VPS S) I don't get access to that. I just asked again and they said they don't offer it. There is a quite real chance we are not communicating properly though.
Can someone post a benchmark of his ams-box?
Wait guys, maybe 40% for vps servers?
They've had 40% off on their VPSes before, it's been about 2 years or so since they last did that promo. It's been awhile since they've offered any discounts on their VPS line, usually it's just the dedis (and usually only the expensive dedis so its nice they discounted the cheaper ones this time).
For what do you use leaseweb vps/dedis?
Anyone have a benck from a leaseweb vps here (core speed, bandwidth, disk speed))?
Seems like it's not a recurring discount? Support seems to say it depends on the contract term.
It is recurring as long as you dont terminate the server
Thanks for that.
Might have misunderstood the support staff, didn't manage to save the chat.

VPS S in Washington DC (some month old already), will add network bench, once it's finished ;-)
Just make sure you immediately go into the panel and set the VPS/dedi to turn off when you reach a certain amount of bandwidth or else a DDOS attack will cost you thousands of dollars with these guys!
You can use predefined ISOs on any of their VPSes.
Also you even can do Nested KVM virtualisation on their instances.
