How exactly do you get to the raid configurations on a supermicro server? I've been trying to install proxmox forever on this supermicro server and I keep getting this error http://imgur.com/IyPlqCJ its a brand new hard drive so I know none of the sectors are bad but it seems to not want to let me install proxmox. I can install cent7 perfectly without problems but something about proxmox. Has anyone had this error diagnosed it and found a good solution?

It looks like your CD image is bad.
That is a direct download ISO from the proxmox website. I pretty much downloaded the ISO and uploaded it to the server via lantronix spider.
Then try comparing the checksum of your file with the one provided on their page.
I've had bad downloads from ProxMox before- after checking the MDSUM, it did not match the image they provided.
What was the resolution did you just re download it?
I used my older 4.3 CD and then upgraded manually.
Do you have the ISO still? can I use it?
I don't have it online, sorry.
If it helps, I downloaded this one: https://www.proxmox.com/en/downloads
I was get similliar error few months back, and i just use proxmox 3.4 then it worked perfectly maybe there is some hardware not supported with proxmox 4.x
Try install debian 8 and then, install proxmox on top of it.
