Hello,
Which do you recommend for the best fully automated seedbox setup script? Thanks..
Quickbox
Is this the most used?
heavy one.
https://quickbox.io/
light weight.
https://github.com/arakasi72/rtinst
for me, these two are easy to use.
No idea, but they're easy to setup
Gotta try Quickbox next, but been using Atomic-Toolkit and it works pretty well. https://github.com/htpcBeginner/AtoMiC-ToolKit
I'm using Danny's seedbox from scratch script in my dedi. Can't complain, pretty simple and not bloated.
I get an error in Seedbox setup. Is there a completely automated setup?
I use

What is the username? (For arakasi72)
the user you created during setup
+1 for QuickBox
It may be "bloated" for some users, but so what? It's not like you are running other stuff on the same machine right?
One Script To Rule Them All, is pretty solid and sure working.. It's also light weight, but the plex media server is so old, I switched for quickbox. Seriously it was so old you could do nothing with it lol

Quickbox is probly the most modern alternative with really nice updating features for individual modules like plex without having to update rtorrent at the same time. but it's getting full of bloatware nowdays.. and the rutorrent is slower and less responsive than in the above one.

I tried quickbox but has anyone noticed it being CPU intensive? It, at times can utilise 100% of 8 cores...
You might want to consider buying a seedbox from a provider who sets it up for you.
I've tried it numerous times and it's never really worked all that great for me. Considering the simplicity of setting a box up manually I just couldn't be bothered trying to get it to work.
quickbox
Go with Quickbox, its very easy to use.
If you want something simple you could try what I use:
https://github.com/arakasi72/rtinst/blob/master/README.md
Don't forget to check ~/.rtorrent.rc after install to change the port-range to something like 52033-52033, so that it is not actually a range, and then change change the line below that concerning port randomization to 'no' assuming you'll be using private trackers. Otherwise everything is good to go for private tracker use.
Edit: should have read others' comments as it has been suggested already, but whatev
why not just "apt install deluged". enable remote access and you're done.
You guys must be kidding https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/111354/best-fully-automated-seedbox-setup-script
Here's a list of scripts. Just choose what's right for you :P

If Ur too stooooopid to run those scripts. Ur too stooooopid to have a seed box
Why would I joke?
Google broken?
I'm surprised you have the brains to type.

Merged threads. Really don't know why you needed to make two threads from two different accounts about this.
Why you don't just install transmission on your VPS and configure it?
It's not that hard.
This one is great
