haha
Going to assume CST since they're based in TX :P
oh, fool me. I'm still waiting new promo for storage deal.
CSTexas?
@gisadik
By any chance, do you happen to know how is NYC to Scaleway connection?
Recommended.
Both Ryan and Gordon are great.
Network is superb as well. One of the best networks I've ever seen.
It's actually Central Standard Tacos, because it's always taco time in Texas.
Hey SpeedyKVM, if a plan has 1TB of bandwidth, will my VPS be suspended when I hit 1TB or will I get overage? I would prefer it gets suspended.
SpeedKVM's AUP&TOS : https://speedykvm.com/tos.html
BANDWIDTH & OVERAGES
Bandwidth used in excess of your allotted amount will be charged at $0.50 per gigabyte of data transfer.
$0.50 per gigabyte...
$0.50 per gigabyte...
$0.50 per gigabyte...
I'd guess its not work that way.
LOL
I got one and started to write a ticket about custom iso mounting and then I thought I'd check just in the unlikely case that...
Well, what d' ya know
I'll be purchasing based on clarification of the bandwidth overage policy. I dont want to get a DDOS attack and be on the hook @ 50 cents per GB.
Bandwidth can be reset with 1x monthly fee, this has been updated on the TOS;
https://speedykvm.com/tos.html
We have always done the suspend/bandwidth reset option, the TOS was just incorrect/copied from another brand of ours. Thanks for pointing it out.
If you exceed your bandwidth allotment your VPS will be suspended until the next month. You can restore your VPS prior to the bandwidth resetting the next month by opening an invoice and asking to pay 1x monthly fee to reset the bandwidth. So if your VPS is $7/month, you can reset the bandwidth for $7 one time fee.

Alrighty, we'll give it a go. You're still planning on being around in 3 years right guys?
mmmm
Yes. Our parent company is profitable, and has been in biz since 2008 (9 years).
He was kidding, you'll be amazed how much Incero has been discussed in these parts of the Internet
Got two of the 2TB storage plans, figured for the price I'd put up a nice GlusterFS pair. Specs were wrong, but a ticket got that taken care of really quickly. Currently both nodes are on the same hyp, so that's less than ideal. Doubt they'll move me, but I'll try.
Interesting note, on my fresh installs of CentOS 7, the default route was set to the private NIC so outbound traffic wasn't working properly. Doing this corrected it:
nmcli c m System\ eth1 ipv4.never-default yes
nmcli c up System\ eth1
Hell of a deal there.
Amazing deal right there! Feel free to open an offer thread.
Nice! Can this works as a Plex box with one transcoding ?
I don't have much experience with it myself, but I'd opt for the plan with 2 CPU cores as transcoding can be pretty taxing. They only have one node for this promo (according to their support, I tried to move one of my nodes to another host), so you'd be getting 'up to' 2.1Ghz, and I feel one core at that speed is a bit lacking for transcoding:
[root@node2 ~]# grep MHz /proc/cpuinfo
cpu MHz : 2099.998

Oh, thank you. I thought they also had 3Ghz+ CPUs on their storage box
Nah, the old RAID5 storage plans are E3s.
Based on their stock in V-Dedicated, I'm guessing this storage line is using the AMD 6274 (maybe? not sure).Edit: They've updated product descriptions, Dual E5-2620v2
You're welcome That'd be nice, but you already get a lot of server for the price
I've updated the storage promo 60 to detail;
" (host node is Dual E5-2620 v2)" https://speedykvm.com/billing/cart.php?gid=9
