More fake stuff:
Interesting. More of these fake stuff news please
Interesting! I hope my Intel SSD is legit lol
One of my hospitals once bought 1500 SD cards for some patient monitoring device. Since a proper legit source was to expensive, they got them from some shady site. It were 4GB cards, they said. After testing it appeared that they were 32MB cards :P Shame that was :P
Quite common with SD cards and USB drives. However, SSDs are a different story. In theory are meant to use high grade NANDs with, QC etc... As per the article and what news I've read it's quite rare for SSDs, hence the big news.
Oh that and it's relevant to hosts here
@cosmicgate Well, beef burgers are "fake", containing traces of horse meat.
You're welcome!
There are shops that sell cheap legit stuff.
As long as you have no problem claiming warranty, it should be ok.
But I like horse meat...?
Also some ppl like 4 GB usb keys, but they dont like to buy them as 256 GB ones. What if I am jewish or arabic and the beef they sell me is in fact pig, or the pig is in fact cow in India ?
It doesnt work that way, that will not help them in court.
@jacob: damn! so the burgers werent from unicorn meat? I've been fooled!
In fact theres a huge scandal in europe right now about selling horse-meat in packages marked as beef.
According to the newspapers everyone blames someone else.
Findus here in Sweden blames one of their sub-contractors in Romania. And on and on.....
makes one wonder horses are cheaper than cows?
@nstorm LOL, nice camera They should have put something heavy inside...
@rds100 they had, I didn't posted it in first place:
there must be some kind of guarantee when you buying ssd, right?
@appdev oh that's a good one lol
really? damn people, but also why you keep buying from untrusted users
by the way i have some 1TB flash drives, anyone interested
xD
@dedicados Sell me them for $20 instead of $100's? xD
Is more like beware of fake products in general.. :P
Some years back there were ppl on the street here offering bosch tools, "digital" cameras (was at the begining of them) they were just like those, only plastic with weights. Sure, the price was cool, some were even reselling the stuff they were fooled with in the first place...
even fake 5318008? (hint: enter it into a calculator or phone and turn it upside down...)
@user123 figured it out before i looked at it upside down on a calculator...
