Your servers are awesome
Wow.
It is even cheaper than my VPN using right now.
I should take one and let it idle.
Could you list all available payment options?
Sure:
PayPal Bitcoins, Credit Card, Paysafecard, Sofort Banking, KBC/CBC, iDEAL, MisterCash and Belfius Direct Net
It's a rather speedy KVM, and certainly isn't bad for the price:
`# sysbench --num-threads=1 --test=cpu --cpu-max-prime=50000 run

Of course, our standard benchmark:

The only problems that I see (beyond this price being unsustainable)- IPv6 doesn't work- at all. I did a sysctl to disable it so I could upgrade Debian and run network tests. Otherwise, this is pretty damn nice for the price.
We have some problems with IPv6 at the moment, will keep this topic updated about this.
So IPv6 is simply broken? :-(
@ContraWeb: Which ISOs do you offer? Do you allow custom ISOs?
It doesn't work as supposed to for now.
We offer all supported version of: Ubuntu, Debian, Centos,
It's not possible to upload a custom iso through the Control Panel but we can upload one for u if u open a ticket.
Trying to order with a dutch billing address, vat shows as 0%, should be 21%?
Yes it should be, thanks for bringing it to our attention.
The Prager Shield will protect us (Prager-IT)
Do you have a LG for this offer?
It could be relevant here as well the benchmark posted in the previous thread
Are the nodes hosted using raid6 & btrfs by any chance?
No because people like to abuse it.
http://mirror.dataone.nl/centos/6.8/isos/x86_64/CentOS-6.8-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso (3.6GB) link from our DC.
Can also offer u a test vps for 1 hour. please PM me for it.
Did not expect the peering to be that bad to Germany. (200-300kb/s)
Still a nice KVM machine for the price. Guess Ill use it for websites or something rather than VPN.
Can you do a MTR/traceroute to mirror.dataone.nl ?
IPv6 doesnt work, as stated above. (just thought id include it)
As for IPv4:
Working on it.
@ContraWeb did you mean ipv6 or the routing for v4?
IPv6
Can you try one more time files29.directadmin.com thank you :-)
@joeri
There definitely seems to be something wrong between me and the DC (not to this traceroute, but my server itself). I also have some packet loss. (which I dont see from my servers to the ContraWeb DC, so its not the DC itself)
Ill wait 1-2 days and then open a ticket if its still a problem maybe to find out if its fixable.
And does IPv6 works ?
@joeri
No, it doesnt.
Strange it works here great.

@joeri
it does work from various others of my servers as well. Seems just like something between me and the DC is fucked up.
nm, duplicate.
I get terrific download speeds for this (close to 100MB/s to Online and Hetzner, around 20MB/s to Ramnode Seattle), but wonder if the VPS can do the same thing.
Any chance of UK location?
Unfortunately not.> @als said:
