Hey guys,
can you give me any recommendations what is best in things of user experience and administration.
Administration in point of setting up load balancing and using cloudflare...managing user uploaded files to get it easily scaled.
No "Cloud" Hosting is preferred.
Thanks

wut?
did you read the thread title?
Im looking for a social network CMS.
No I dont!
Budget?
One Time License about 500€
Depends on price/perfomance.
OpenSource would be great but experience from people tells me more.
For Open Source, you can use Wordpress CMS
You can use buddypress for your social network.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress/
Also there is many plugins for buddypress to extend social media features.
Joomla has two very decent choices for social network.
Not sure if it would fit your needs and works exactly this way, but what about something like Diaspora* without connecting it to other pods?
Wordpress is not bad but i only want a social network not a blog with buddypress addon. I will try it...
Any experience with dolphin or thesocialengine?

Not that kind of thing i was looking for.
Your question is pretty vague, but maybe you can use the same one that North Korea put up last week.

You can try PHP Fox for your needs.
Or you can try HumHub, our company uses this for our internal collaboration.
Hi Jonas,
maybe you should have a look at elgg - see www.elgg.com ;-)
Elgg is the first one to come to mind.
SocialEngine - $700
I don't get your point. Maybe you can try wecenter, from a Chinese company.
