Is BlueVM now reliable?
As you know BlueVM is notorious for its bad quality of service.
These days, it seems that it has improved their services including.
The uptime looks better than before and the connectivity is more stable.
It has changed its homepage (still ugly and messy) and the control board.
Guys, do you think it's time to trust BlueVM again after it's bought by Chicago VPS.
Do you think BlueVM is trustable "again"?

Were they ever reliable? It was closely aligned to the GVH model in quality, service and staffing.
Hasn't @ernie been doing some stuff on BlueVM or was that when they were trying to get through the millions of unanswered tickets?
I'd hazard a guess that hosts like BlueVM do have occasional better performance. It'll be around ~365 days after they last spammed an offer and (almost) everyone cancelled.
Seems legit, first post advertising BlueVM.
I wouldn't try it again... even if you pay me
@gigavest
No. I am one (maybe the only one?) of its customers.
I have one subscription that is coming to the due day.
I am wondering whether should I extend it...
Oh ok, sorry.
From there reviews here, it doesnt seem good
Cheers
@ricardo
Do you mean they "improved" the quality of my box because they know the next due day is coming. And if I pay and extend the contract, the service will go bad again, just as normal?
OK. I understand. I should not renew the subscription after it's ended this time.
Maybe the good performance these days is just to delude me to extend the contract. Just as @ricardo said.
I see. I think I should stop using their boxes from now on.
The Bluevm service has definitely improved due to the investments we've made in it but there is no doubt more work to be done.
No. I mean an oversold box becomes less oversold when people's hosting is not renewed.
Well. Shall we believe you?
I was using your box during the last two years, which was really a nightmare.
The server went down unexpectedly again and again.
After I renewed the subscription last time, I really regretted it. In almost the whole contract period, Either the box was not accessible or the connection was rather slow and unstable.
Additionally, I found BlueVM boxes are likely to be attacked. I see so many IPs trying to connect my box while my boxes from other providers are really clean.
lol... This sounds reasonable.
@jbiloh Is this true?
by the way, what is that E3-1240V3 with 2 x 3.4GHz CPU?
https://www.chicagovps.net/services/dedicated-servers
Do they mean 2 cores? Half a server?
Yes
Though it's offtopic, I guess here the "cores" should be threads.
This CPU has 8 threads.
2 cores = 4 threads then.
I would believe you if I wouldn't have a server with 123systems which is painfully slow.
The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.
I have seen way too many negative reviews of BlueVM and ChicagoVPS, spanning many years, to consider either of them. I recommend that you read this review and my follow-up posts regarding my experience with BlueVM:

Im sorry I am no longer affiliated with BlueVM/HVH/ChicagoVPS/VSNX.
Wow! Are you able to say where you are now in case your previous clients are interested in rejoining you?
Perceptions cannot be changed piecemeal, if you want people to see any positives a major leap > @Ernie said:
Interesting, what you doing now?
Worst shilling ever.

Sad to see you go
BTW why is hudsonvalleyhost.com domain on sale? http://whois.domaintools.com/hudsonvalleyhost.com
I work for Enzu now.
Thank you. Im not sure regarding the domain.
What you are saying is that bluevm and all the rest suck again because the entity that was making all the positive changes left. Meaning @jbiloh will fuck it over like usual and come here and say he has done so much to improve or soon™.
Ehhhh you never know, Ernie seemed to be making changes to both BlueVM and HVH he was also the public face of HVH, at least I'm pretty sure he was , hence the mention.
Who knows what's going on behind the scenes with the rest though, I would like to think they're trying..
