EazyVPS Review II
So it seems like EazyVPS has now officially "launched".
NOTE: I am a provider, so this review may be biased.
Ordering:
I see it now shows IPv4 addresses. Awesome!
Still need more OSes on the order form, still have my hopes up for more in SolusVM
Those IPs are pretty expensive.
Pretty standard WHMCS...
Only payment method is PayPal
ToS page is not fancy (not that it matters)
4. EazyVPS Not Obligated To Review Activities or Notify of Violations: EazyVPS is under no obligation to review Client's and/or any of Client.s Sub-User.s (the term .Client.s Sub-User. is defined below) activities to determine if a violation of this TOS Agreement (which includes EazyVPS.s AUP) has occurred. Further, EazyVPS does not assume any responsibility by virtue of this TOS Agreement (which includes EazyVPS.s AUP) to monitor, enforce or police Internet-related activities or to notify Client of any actual or suspected violations.
It's like someone has gone find and replace " or ' with .
WHMCS still has the old, dodgy logo. :L
Mail still going to SPAM (Google Apps/Gmail)
I actually got an activation email! Woohoo! (still goes to spam)
You probably need more helpdesks
Standard SolusVM interface
Still need more templates.

More VPS:
4 Cores from the above CPU
ServerBear is running, I will post a link to results here soon
Also, this bothers me.
no 32bit linux distro? 64bit will consume more RAM than 32bit...
@SimpleNode do you forget to remove the IP from SolusVM screenshot or it on purpose ?
That pure security is pure BS. Not possible. In no damn way
Thanks, Fixed
@SimpleNode : one more on distro selection
Thanks, fixed
Especially without looking at your data...
Being a Brit, they are terrible. Our young friend @infinity might agree.
How can it be secure if your provider is looking at your VPS/Data to see if it is secure?
I think provider reviews of other providers is a slippery slope of drama that most will agree will not end very well
It is called autosecure© by dewlance.
@bamn
He requested it, so I did it.
I did offer a disclaimer at the top that my review may be biased.
@Arif257 why have not i got a reply to my ticket yet? been over 24 hours!!
Here is the @ServerBear
http://serverbear.com/benchmark/2012/12/04/2HNSQ4fsWmLhiztg
lol @Taz Brit or not: at the moment it's a mess. I add'd @Arif257 on Skype a day or two ago and have been giving a bit of advice.
@simpleNode The logo on the cart section of WHMCS was updated. I believe you didn't refresh your browser cache that's why it showed the old logo.
@joshuah did you submit your ticket before EazyVPS was laucned? If so that may be the reason we haven't responded as we cleared all our support tickets and clients for the launch.
Please resubmit your ticket.
Thank You.
@simpleNode We beleive the IPv4 addresses are at a fair price, they may seem rather expensive to you as you are a provider your self, but we believe we have provided them for a fair price.
Keeps spam / SEO clowns from signing up for your $3/mo VPS and ordering 15 $1-2 IPs for their next spam run
Just don't allow that many IPs to be ordered at once? Abuse is NOT a means to increase price.
Can't increase the price on..... a brand new company.
It's his new company policy and let him deal with it. I figure it's a couple of bucks markup on his part.
Decent review format, excellent constructive feedback that the company can use to improve
Yep, my opinion too.
Regarding the IP price, that will probably become mainstream sooner rather than later.
The SEO ppl might want it, but a spammer no, he will pay for them and then get suspended the next day, so, probably not a good deal.
@Arif257 this is now the second time ive sent an email and no response..
ive tried to use your live chat 3 times already and sat waiting for over 30 minutes each time.. as i write this i am actually sitting on hold ...
Not impressed..
@joshuah Please understand our support team receive many chat requests so it may take some time to respond to your request but we can assure you we will assist you as soon as possible.
@joshuah May I ask how did you submit your support ticket which method did you use? Did you use the Live help chat or did you submit your ticket through the contact us page or through the WHMCS panel? This will help our support team in finding your ticket and having it dealt with sooner.
Thank You.
@Arif257 i was on live chat with you earlier, and was chatting with -you- and then you stopped replying to my questions, i waited 15 minutes and after multiple messages "Hello are you there?!!?" i disconnected.
All the emails were directly by "contact us page" not WHMCS or live chat.
