Also, ArubaCloud, if we use a little too much CPU, will you ban us or throttle us?

Safe CPU usage treshold is 70%.

Just look through their offers and you will definetly find the information on accepted payment methods. HostUS for example utilize a fairly unpopular (in hosting industry) payment system called Skrill.

  • @bersey Sorry I meant for ArubaCloud. I heard Paypal is accepted but is there another option?

Which ArubaCloud location is good for network performances?

Also is the €1/month really good for hosting few WP sites? Less than 1000 unique visitors a day in total.

  • TheKiller said: Which ArubaCloud location is good for network performances?

    All except the Czech one.

Yes, they will nullrotate your ip

  • They little I've used them (occasional logins in the last 6 months) its worked well. The only thing I don't like is that they don't send top up reminders for the service (just discovered that my VPN ran out of money on the 9th of this month). Plus last October I ended up with someone elses invoice by accident.

I used them for a little over 2 months and had 100% uptime and performance was surprisingly really good. It would do just fine for a Wordpress site with 1K/daily.

    Hi @dragon1993
Ubuntu 16.04 template will be available in 2 months. Anyway now you can create a 14.04 server and upgrade it or use a PRO server and install Ubuntu 16.04 via ISO

  • DC1 Italy seems down?

  • ArubaCloudArubaCloud Member, Host Rep

    Hi
DC1-IT is correctly reachable. To obtain support on your VM please open a Ticket

  • Must have been something on my end for some minutes I couldn't access anything.

  • I'd really love to see FreeBSD in the OS templates list as well.

Just curious... Is it possible to oversell ram with VMware? Could be that they're selling at €1/m knowing that the majority won't use 1GB of RAM.

Where can invoices be found? Do they issue one invoice per month or you get as many invoices as you have plans with them?

  • FalzoFalzo Member
    edited July 2016

you need to buy credits beforehand. if you do you get an invoice for that order.

edit: invoices are sent via mail, afair there is no option to see or download them from their panel...
