(Just to add that Bench Network speeds were on a 250Mbps uplink)
Dedicated cpu?
So my old regular cloud node only has 250Mbps, and this new let offers 500Mbps?
Core, yes
@rokok - drop me a PM with the IP for free upgrade.
I wonder when will Jakarta location available?
There's perhaps 8100 GB of SSD. At 30 GB per VM, that's a maximum of 270 VMs. Assuming 14 blade servers in the enclosure used for hosting clients, and 10 cores/20 threads per CPU, I'm guessing they have just enough capacity to give a dedicated thread.
Have a feeling I'm totally wrong though
Yea I wanted to ask if its a thread or core.
core ? not thread ?
@sirmbhe - Engineers are onsite all week - won't be long now
@wwabbit @masterqq @Junkless - It's a core as defined by onapp / KVM - which is a thread (single core / thread). Our VMs range from 1GB RAM to some at 128GB RAM, so there is no hard and fast rule on our clouds in terms of use.
Anyone noticed an issue with ^ this?
That's how the freevps script outputs it. Run the script on any VPS that gets over 1GB on DD and you'll see the same.
Here's another one I just ran now:
atm only 15
you might need to edit title : $5 to $5.5
IO test
more than enough
Edited to $5.50 - there are 16 clouds available now to build on (two each in Dublin, London and Dallas) Jakarta will be the 17th public platform online
Wow finally
There is 2 Dublin, different dc? The old 2GB ram Dublin eligible to upgrade 500Mbps?
Can we change the plan from monthly to anually after 1 month ?
Can I move to Jakarta in the future when it was available?
Any promotion or credit for new users? I'd like to have a try for the speed. lol.
Yes
Yes, no problem.
This is a promotion for new users
Two suites of the same building, but independent controllers and networking (and racks).
Some IOPS porn :

More than enough to give everyone their fair share. (emphasis on FAIR)
