+1 for MaxCDN
https://xcdn.exceda.com/
I second this.
Im using keyCDN, so far so good.
Using UCDN personally, as they provide decent prices for storage + bandwidth.
Get EdgeCast CDN pls (via JoDiHost)
OK.
Akamai.
I'm using KeyCDN, but I might not have if I had fully read the TOS and saw that credit is only good for one year. Aside from that, they're awesome.
Uh oh. Is that new? I'm sitting on a boatload of credit that's currently just being slowly sipped out.
I was using Skypark, they have a very good pricing scheme and service (their HQ is located at Russia fyi). Skypark use the onApp network/CDN so you can expect good presence worldwide. I do like Cloudfront and keyCDN too.
EDIT: added link to SkyPark website and info about their network.
Depends on your definition of "new". I only found reference to it on the "legal" page (https://www.keycdn.com/legal), and if you check web.archive.org the expiration paragraph exists on Jun 17, 2015 but not on Sep 6, 2014, so it was somewhere in between those dates that the policy was added I guess.
And yeah, my plan was to sip the credit as well. I'm just over 1 month in and have used $0.00 so far, so I could have gone forever on $26
Wouldn't be so bad if the top up amount was configurable, so I could do $5/yr instead of $25. EDIT: Just loaded the page and apparently min top up is now $29/yr...
Cloudflare will handle 1pb of traffic in a month just fine. Go with CloudFlare.
I sense a @William joke.
Wait for it.... waaaait for it
Try https://www.netdepot.com/cdn/, they are not the best but you will get first 100GB free
+1 for KeyCDN, although the year credit is news to me. I think I've been using them for over a year, slowly sipping it down. Works great and it's
the best deal I've found.
As i can see, MaxCDN and KeyCDN is options.
Cloudflare with page rules set to cache everything in the image directory.
that will do wonders when you try you will know the difference
and they allow up to 1 PB of BW (tested in the real world if you know what i mean)
You mean as free member or Pro?
of course free one if you want DDOS protection then paid will be a good call
MaxCDN is the best performant at the moment.
I got in touch with KeyCDN support and confirmed the bad news. Credits will expire after a year (mine expire in two weeks).
The minimum to renew is $29. It's still the best deal I've found, but not as good as I thought. Instead of pay as you go, it's a minimum of $29/year ($2.42/month), then pay as you go.
Thanks for the heads up, it's a bad news for me as well.
The catch is if you contribute less than amount $ to their bottom line, having you as a customer is not profitable at all.
CDN77 also has a pay-as-you-go plan, but the minimum annual cost is 99$, fastly cost $50/m at minimum. It is sad that KeyCDN takes the same route, and hide the policy in the legal.
So when will LowEndCDN come?
Maybe soon.
But you can get your LowEndCDN now! First, go here and buy a server (not a chair), then install nginx and serve your files.
Ez. Now your CDN works, and you can stop worrying about packet loss issues - its already bundled with the plan, for free!!!
Thanks for that, but their website looks like a scam, they didn't even made their banners for high resolutions. And they didn't got ipv6, what a cdn is that.
But they allow spoofing, so most traffic stays in the network anyway, as it's requested from servers there!
They do mention it on their buy credits page too, but it's certainly not clear up front.
Here's what that page says:
And the egregious use of you're instead of your is disappointing.
