in usa, you won't get any better for the price range. i would recommend it
dacentec is another budget option
QuadIXRefugees.com
Wonder when their Delimiter refugee sale is coming in, haha. Even when we don't hear about issues customers want to leave them.
@vpsguy Drop me an email [email protected] and I'll see what I can do
ok that's fu*king hilarious
and its fucking real.
@qps (QuickPacket) is another good option.
Which server do you have? L5630?
Yes I have l5640
Here's some of this month, they had a rough night (that data from today is largely the last 5 hours):
And we're talking hard outages here:
Are you sure its L5640 not L5630?
Out of interest (though I think I know the answer), why do you want to leave QuadIX?
Delimiter all the way...
Oh... I stand corrected. Weren't they just bragging about 60 days uptime without issues?
QuickPacket is running a $20 off promotion on Dual Xeon L5639/L5640 systems in either Atlanta or Los Angeles. Configurations start at $69.99 per month. Use promo code 6M8UA9H72P.
If you don't need 12 cores/24 threads, we have a Dual L5520 with 8 cores/16 threads starting at $49 per month in either Atlanta or Los Angeles. Use promo code LETXEON49.
Sorry it's l5630.. Want to leave quadix because I don't want to have production there due to fact their network is poor which happens frequently .. Having lots of complaints from my clients.. Especially there is lot of pack loss too now
L5630 is on @mikeyur's refugee offer list so he can get you sorted out with a new machine.
Delimiter's site is in downtown Atlanta, its the #2 location (after Telx at 56 Marietta which we are also directly connected). In terms of network, we have both on-site upstreams at 55 Marietta and backhauled from 56; so you're not at risk of backhaul going down and transit going down.
