Ah, another one of these threads
I currently have VPS with:
Dedicated servers with OVH only at the moment.
I use Rackspace for Hosted Exchange SaaS so that I don't need to think about it
Leaseweb SG for hosting my blog
OVH Canada for my company's site and SolusVM
Vultr for anycasting.
Had a huge clear out had a lot more
.
I have quite a few VPSes right now but here are my main ones:
Leaseweb VA and Leaseweb Netherlands
Lunanode Toronto
VULTR New Jersey
Online.net Kidechire (Backup Server)
Ramnode NYC 128mb (Backup Server)
That's fevvo off my list. Go MXRoute you bastard
VPS: VpsBit (LT), GestionDBI (NL), DigitalOcean, EvoBurst (DE, FR)
Dedicated: Kimsufi (FR)
I have a number of vps with this providers:
Ramnode 128mb openvz
2x MyCustomHosting 256 Mb KVM
Drserver Xenstorage
Hostdark 512mb
NanoVZ Sweden 128mb
LES Singapore 128mb
Quadhost 128Mb Ignite refugee
Leaseweb Singapore
DigitalOcean SG
Vultr JP
VpsBit free vps
Dacentec 512Mb
BudgetVZ 1Gb
Virmach 128Mb
LHC NL 128Mb
ArubaCloud
Most of my 128mb vps are use for dn42.
Ramnode, LiquidWeb, AWS, Hostodo (obviously ;-))
For personal use:
I am surprised about how I have most of my personal stuff in hosts discovered via LET.
I would prefer to migrate from Online to LeaseWeb or other decent provider in the future. I guess it will happen when I see a decent deal on KVM with a good amount of storage and DDoS protection.
Time to list again
for backup I just testing upload some files to B2 Backblaze as replacement for my 2nd backup server on Online.net dedi
RamNode
Dediserve
Linode
DigitalOcean
OVH
Are the boxes I have right now.
nl1 - Ramnode (128MB SVZ, web development)
nl2 - Ramnode (512MB SVZS, just bought it recently. may turn it into a remote desktop)
fr1 - Online.net (Seedbox)
usnc1 - Dacentec (nothing atm)
Vultr I just spin up when I need a Windows box or want to test some custom ISOs or something. Also a friend got a Time4VPS box for a forum which I look after for them)
Here mine.
Hm.
Never got a chance to try Vultr. Every time I tried adding my card it seems to decline it for some reason.
BudgetVM, ImpactVPS, Aruba, Dacentec, VPSBit, MightWeb
catalyst, speedykvm and prometeus
My current providers for my personal VPSs are: VPSBit (LT) & Hostigation (CLT)
I maintain (or maintained) servers hosted with: Strato AG (still maintaining) and Vultr (no longer under my supervision, DE location).
Ioflood
Epic
Digital ocean
Ovh
I'm reducing my lists now :
Too many, I don't remember
70% idle VPS
I actually have significantly more dedicated servers than VPSes.
Dedi:
8 OVH 14 Online.net(only one is a kidechire actually) 4 Leaseweb 5 Dacentec
Most of the money from the dedi section goes to OVH actually, I've got a lot of their larger servers, including two(soon to be more) of their 30TB storage line ones.
VPS:
2 DO CA 1 MCH CA 2 Linode JP 1 Ramnode US-NY 2 time4vps LT 1 Catalyst US-TX 1 XVM US-AZ 1 Securedragon US-CO 1 BuyVM US-NV Probably more I forgot
I look forward to adding vStoike to my VPS list sometime soon, as well as more stuff from Securedragon and time4vps.
Also, not a VPS or dedi, but I'm currently giving a go to mxroute for my non-critical email.
BudgetVZ and MegaVZ
Im using:
HostUS (UK) - For my video website.
DigitalOcean (NL) - DNS stuff and for development droplets
Hoping on adding BuyShared (LU) to the list soon for a new project of mine. wink wink @Francisco
Used to have a ton more but my buy VPS addiction has calmed down so I cancelled most.
I'm using:
HostUS (LA, US): My own website, etc, I run some other stuff on it too.
LHC SG (x2): Git Server & Server Status Server
Gestion DBI (NJ, US): VPN
AlphaRacks (LA, US): For a project that I'm launching soon (that wasn't ever disclosed here)
DigitalOcean (SG, not mine, but have full control over): For running some Laravel apps, VPN (PPTP & L2TP), and 20-30 WordPress websites with at least 3 thousand views daily (in total)
Amazon Cloud Drive: For pushing hundreds of gigabytes of backups to, everyday
I use Zoho for my mail. Free, but works really well. Might consider MXRoute for my future (more serious) projects though.
2x HostUS of which i have bought just this week, I have 2GB in LA and 256mb HK, both are doing great but docker support is just not there even with the provided template a lot of things arent working
1x Ramnode - stellar uptime, I am only using this as a VPN though, only gripe is it autokills apps that cpu or memory spikes (i think)
1x Dacentec, decent provider for the price, nothing noteworthy but my expectations for what I pay are definitely fulfilled
Using Prometeus, Dacantec, BuyShared, BuyVM and I've got a couple of yearlys with random hosts I can't remember. All are doing their job well :P
Making this list made me realize I've focused way too much on proximity to me and to other servers instead of global distribution. Solution: More servers!
