Basic DDoS precautions
Hey all,
My VPS keeps getting suspended do to high traffic and I was sent logs from my provider. The only port familiar in the logs is 9987 (TeamSpeak 3) but the others are not so familiar. They seem to be random. Any idea on basic precautions I can take to limit this from happening?
Thanks!

Seems to be normal these days.
Old versions of TeamSpeak are used for UDP reflection. Upgrade to the latest version.

Get Protected VPS?
Yes. Stop playing with 10 year olds.
No. If you read the post, you'll see his VPS is most likely being a participant on a reflection attack, not a victim.
Don't post LEB offers from the UK.
Don't piss off the Chinese government.

I wouldn't recommend NexHost, their servers are oversold (it seems) and their network is overloaded, if you download something at maximum capability connection to the server will be either slow or unavailable for some time.
