Nexhost account terminated without any notification
Hi fellows,
My account on nexhost was just terminated without any notifications.
I got a cheap vps, vpn and shadowsocks were running on it.
Also installed tor, but stoped.
I just checked its TOS, seems I did not break it.
Does any one have similar experience?

@Jordan_NexHost might have a solution for you, might have been the tor never know. I do know that Jordan recently took over the company and is still working to pan things out so might be a change in the TOS or something never know, I guess he'll respond here in due time.

I corrected it via PM with the client. there was a fraud record listing. but after looking at it again. I reinstated his account and provided the client double the amount of memory/cpu on his yearly plan.

Termination means the data gets deleted from the server too, right?

Once I got marked as fraud and been told to f off. They said they don't want me as a customer just because they can. Lolol

Admittedly I've told one client to do just that on MXroute.
Granted, it was because he ordered a new plan right after filing a credit card chargeback and ignoring my communication attempts. Back when the amount he disputed was half of MXroute's monthly income...
What about the Data on VPS ??
First terminate, then ask I guess.
That was removed also hence why I doubled the clients specs.

That's messed up, why didn't you contact him first? What if he had important data on his server?
I mean it's great you doubled his specs and all, but that's still really lame for a false fraud record. Especially if he already paid. Maxmind and the like suck anyway.
There was one guy who sent in a dispute and then attempted to order another plan a week later with different PayPal account but same details. He got told to go away, nicely

Every Ticket regarding the NAT VPS have been answered.
It's messed up that I have to deal with chargebacks and fraud on $5.50 year payment. where I'm at risk of loosing a extra $20 if someone decides to charge it back.
You might wanna checkout this new suspension feature these guys just launched.

Usually anyone who has a fraud record listing for specific reasons are not allowed to purchase. anyway I admit mistake and I gave the client double the amount of resources.

Anyone during Blackfriday was removed as we had several disputes in 1 day. If anyone wants a refund then we'll get that processed. but we have not removed anyone who has had service for several months. Only the most recent orders.
NexHost seems a bit dangerous to use if you have important data...
It's a fucking 3$/year service with no guarantees. Should be clear that nodes can fuck up all time.
Wait so, you terminated all of the orders due to high fraud rate and then you didn't immediately refund them? So what was the point of terminating if it doesn't save you the chargebacks?
You refund so that they can't charge back, not keep their money, terminate their service, and post on LET that they can ask you for a refund. That action would increase disputes, not decrease them.
