Aimpanel - cheap gamepanel
Hello LET, it's my first post here.
I want to introduce project I'm working on from August.
I'm developer of Aimpanel http://aimpanel.pro/en/
Currently it's in open beta, anyone can get key and test it.
After beta, license will cost $2,5/mo allowing commercial use.
No game servers limit, pricing is based per number of VPS/dedicated servers.
Panel supports game and voice servers, is easy to use and has modern material design web interface and powerful API.
Simple web hosting functions are in plans.
Install process is very simple, only one command with wget and bash and it's installing from repo.
Currently supported server types
- Minecraft
- TeamSpeak3
- TS3Musicbot.net
Roadmap
- CS:GO support in November
- stable version 1.0 supporting Debian 8 and Ubuntu 14.04 in December.
- enterprise functions like CPU/RAM limiting in January
- billing modules at the end of January.
Let me know what you think or what functions do you expect

centos? which billing, whmcs, blesta?
@systemz
Only Debian 7 Wheezy 64bit is currently supported
:-(
Currently only Debian and in future Debian derivative.
Hard to say when CentOS will be supported, I can make this priority if demand will be high, currently most of my clients use Debian.
Which OS support you need?
and billing? and will there be owned branded and unbranded licenses?
centos is widely used and supported, preferred
I not yet decided which billing module will be first, but WHMCS and blesta modules will be provided.
Branded/unbranded - you mean logo of hosting company instead of "Aimpanel", color scheme etc. ?
well std branded or unbranded, branded with "powered by" and unbranded w/o
if there's support for centos/blesta/owned license option, will be interested
Why did you decide to call the project "aimpanel"?
Please add cpu usage / user. Memory usage / user. And support all major games: CS 1.6 , CS:GO, SAMP, MTA. Also built in FTP and MySQL is a must. If thats done maybe this could be great. But check first: GSP - PANEL. Thats my suggestion. If you cant reach theese things , forget to pay somebody for this control panel.
Yeah, I'll provide unbranded version. CentOS has been just added to todo list https://trello.com/b/NmwdfyQT/aimpanel
I think that it's easy to remember and linked with FPS games.
I really appreciate your feedback, I'll do my best, thanks
I'd recommend ability to add your own custom games.
Also installation of a game from external source (packaged contents can be grabbed from an external ftp server for example)
looks great thus far!
EDIT: Just installed, was very easy to do. Setup a Minecraft server within 1 minute and within 2 minutes was inside the server running around. Will really enjoy once there are a lot more features. I recommend looking at http://www.bgpanel.net/ for inspiration as well.
I like the idea of own custom game template, I'll think about it
Thanks for giving it a try I'm focusing on easy to use interface, soon all server.properties settings for MC will be editable from panel.
ubuntu 14.04 and later
Thanks for info, I'll try to add support to end of the week.
I recommend looking at http://www.bgpanel.net/ for inspiration as well.
I would +1 this, I personally spoken to the developer in the past and used this to host some servers in the past for my community.
Also I would of prioritized CentOS in my personal opinion coming from a gaming based background but it's looking good so far so keep it up!
Ok, now I see CentOS support is a must have :d
I need advice, which version is more important right now, 6 or 7? Everyone migrated already to 7?
Web hosting? As in MySQL features?
I would look into 6, 7 Has more support for some of the source games but I've experienced issues with it's firewall before. Not really sure on the uptake of 7 but I know there are a lot still on 6.
Yes, I would assume this does use MySQL with a php front & backend.
And opengamepanel too, that panel is more complete and up-to-date.
@SystemZ, are we allowed to create our own templates? Also, are you using smarty variables if there is documentation for the templating?
No, no, that's not what I meant
By web hosting features, I meant for the ability for users to create their own databases.
@SystemZ Great job thus far!
@systemZ
PM me when you add Ubuntu support
Frontend is completely separate from backend.
Frontend is 100% HTML,CSS,JS build with vue.js and webpack.
Backend is PHP with Lumen microframework serving as output only JSON at http interface. I'll provide API docs soon.
Before 1.0 I'll release frontend on github with MIT license so anyone will have ability to mod look and feel.
It's very similar in code to my status page project:

Yes, MySQL management and simple www hosting are on the TODO list https://trello.com/b/NmwdfyQT/aimpanel
I think it should be ready even today. I was sure that Ubuntu 14.04 use systemd but trusty is using upstart as I read now so it's much less work to do from current wheezy support
If you need a dev license for Blesta PM me or email me at sales@ and I'll get you set up.
systemZ
I was looking to test your creation...but unfortunately all my nodes have ubuntu...because I kind of prefer it over others
@pphillips
Check PM
I just released v0.90.2 with inital Ubuntu 14.04 support thanks to one reader of this thread , try it
Ah, and for memory/CPU limits, I'd suggest either cgroups or https://github.com/opsengine/cpulimit
@SystemZ
Thanx...man...
nice, installed within 2 minutes
great cp layout, everything good so far......
