Cheap VPS for testing
Hey Guys,
Im looking for a Cheap VPS that i can get for couple of dollers/mth (monthly, quarterly or 6-monthly is fine). Would prefer a LET recommended provider, someone with some decent reputation here.
Specs: 512mb - 2GB ram, SSD preferred (how ever much the OS usually needs + couple of GB, 5-10gb?), could care less about the bandwidth (hardly any will be used). 1 x ipv4. Ubuntu on the OS list.
Requirements: Must allow custom ports. Do vps's usually have all ports forwarded to the VPS? My requirements need few strange ports forwarded.
Server will be running a game server (no, not minecraft or anything), its for a game development project. Development hasent even started, so the server will see almost no use for most part.
Any offers/suggestions? Sorry if im asking too much with that price.

I currently have 512MB (KVM) in LAX $5.00/mo
If you need windows I have 1GB windows in LAX for $7.00/mo
Looking Glass for all locations:

https://www.arubacloud.com/
https://www.ovh.ie/vps/vps-ssd.xml
And take a look at this poll.
We can do a 512MB RAM KVM with 4GB Pure SSD for $3.25/month. Location would be in Phoenix, Arizona. It comes with 1IPV4 like you requested but it also comes with an IPv6 IP.
I'd be happy to get you setup on that. Let me know!
Oh thats amazing, these seem like the best options. Thanks a lot for the links.
Wow really, OVH wants me to send the following to validate:
This is just getting too complicated now lol
...aaand arubacloud does not state anywheer if the pricing includes ipv4 or if they are an additional cost. Do i really have to pay for the server to find out this info?
I can grasp how these providers scored high on the LET poll. I hope their actual service is a LOT better than their sign up process lol.

only 1$ month or 10$ year 512mb ram, 1 core , 25 gb hdd
^^what he/she said.
went with arubacloud for now, thanks guys.
You just won't find anything with VMware + 1GB RAM + 20GB SSD for €1/m, that's LET and that is just the point
By the way, they have free trial.
