How many and what for are the normal questions!
How much are you willing to pay per IP?
What spec do you need for the server itself?
how much is an ip?
about 4gb/2gb ram 1 tb hdd 2 or 4 cores
To sell vps
i need more than 20
After the questions you've been asking lately, do you think it's a good idea to start selling VPS?
ha ha thats because online.net uses dibbler and its hard to configure dibbler on centos 6. Anyone can start . No need to be perfect at the beginning. if i wont cheat my customers that wont be a problem
2gb ram for selling vps?
or 4 /8 i just need ipv4 addresses
Your trying to say you want 67108864 IP address?
no i dont need that much i saw a german site that gives good resources but cant remember the name. their cheapest one was 12euros
firstheberg is this good?
Where do you want the server located. USA?
Anywhere
I need /2 IP's
You need about 16GB RAM at minimum to sell few VPS's (about 20 Maximum) But they will perform very slow.
any offers?
You should really aim for 16 or 32 GB of memory if you'd like to sell VPS.
I do e3s for $49. Instantly deployed with IPMI.
I can only get you our LK DC. But they're over your budget I think.
$2 Per IP doable for you? Server can do the following:
E3-1230v3, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD
29 Euros /m
+IPs
Location: Lithuania
He wants to start low and then add more nodes as he gets more clients.
He said he needs more than 20 IPs though. Let's do some rough math.
OpenVZ, let's say proxmox, 2048-512 MB = 1536 MB
1536/20 = 76 MB per VPS.
You want to have 20x 76 MB VPS in a 2 GB RAM node. That's gonna be fun to watch!
A tip from the experts: Make sure you SWAP! Why buy RAM when you can SWAP a lot? Your clients will have faster VPSs! don't do this
Don't mock the spirit of low end!
Lets see
76 MB ought to be enough for anybody.
i didn't say 2gb ram specifically . but now im waiting for restocks in soyoustart.
Thanks i will see to that
@Sweatbear, PM if interested
