About the payment thing: Yes, you can pay you Kimsufi with Paypal.
But if you want to get 4-5 KS-4 you will have to be pretty patient...and even if you're lucky i doubt you get more the 1-2 at once.
How about adding more ram?
You can't modify the spec at all. No drive/ram upgrades, no increasing port speed or additional IPs.
Just have to watch stock closely (use a stock notification thing, there are a couple for KS if you search around) and when they're available you can order up to 5 at a time. So grab 5 immediately when they become available.
I've heard some used a script to know when similar services became available. Does someone know if there is something out there for this?
I used a chrome extension to check the changes the page at set intervals and notify me if there was any change.
There are sites dedicated to that as well. I bet googling "kimsufi notify" will point you at that direction.
i am using this for last few months http://kimi.nwwebsites.co.uk/ but still no luck to getting one i need
https://twitter.com/kimsufi_status
https://github.com/MA3STR0/kimsufi-crawler
as moar ways to get updates
http://ovh-checker.x4b.pw/
http://ks.exec.ovh/ but only KS1 atm.
please note that you will get no support from kimsufis/soyoustart/ovh,
just friendly emails every 4 hours that don't help at all,
also no ipkvm - and if you order one - it's will never work and nobody we help you at all.
my advice: stay away !.
**> please note that you will get no support from kimsufis/soyoustart/ovh,
Thanks for the piece of advice but for that I already have sysadmins+coders who handle that. I mean if the server powers up and does the basic stuff I'm done.
I'll check what others suggested and see if any of those work and let you know.
At the time being we are doing some small scale tests with RA with very promising results.
thanks again

OMFG:
1175
Users waiting
6674
Users total
1059399
Email notifications sent
EDIT: Seems I freaked out at first given the large amount of users waiting (only in this site) but after I placed the servers I needed at least the count did an i++.
Hope they don't add my email to some crappy database though were they spam me
2) @Nomad : I'll be googling what you suggested, thanks. BTW: do you recall which extension you made use of?
3) @raptorpeanutbuttr : thanks I will be checking that tw account . About the app in github do you the min specs to make it run? I have some LEBs I could make use of
4)@xrz: thanks! Seems like they have more providers than the other website.
5)Infinity580 : thanks although I want the i7 920 ( would be superb if I could possibly add more ram :P)
@inthecloudblog, Page Monitor was the extension.
thought I'd mention that you should check all of these:
http://www.kimsufi.com/us/en/index.xml
http://www.kimsufi.com/en/
and possibly
http://www.kimsufi.com/fr/ (but I think it shows same as kimsufi.com/en)
anyway, there are anomalies between the first two. eg right now, the first shows zero ks-2, but the 2nd page shows ks-2 in stock. also, the 4.99 euro model costs less and is on a better CPU than the $7 one listed on the us/en page (all the offers on the euro page in general are much better, and can still buy in canada location)
I wrote a script that checks for availability and automatically orders a specified server, either from KS or SyS. All you need in order to run it is a shell.
Care to share?
Today I missed from renting 3x ks. It even took me to paypal and then they were gone.
