DigitalOcean 256MB $5 Cloud VPS Benchmark + Free Trial

So I came across these guys a few weeks ago & meant to benchmark their plans for a while. Finally got round to it today.
Few interesting things:
- You can trial/test this 256MB node free
- They're running KVM nodes in NY somewhere.
- Bandwidth is unmetered on 100Mbps ports
- Monthly or Hourly pricing
- Custom management panel which uses Bootstap but it's really slick & straightforward.
- Servers are provisioned in seconds
Few things that annoyed me, I couldn't provision any of the dedicated plans to test it just wouldn't deploy or give me any errors, they also don't tell you much about the resources on some of the higher plans (i.e. HDD space).
The box I tested is $5/month KVM, 256mb RAM, 20GB HDD.

Just tried them a few days ago, and their panel is nice
Unmetered 100 mbit for $5/mo certainly looks interesting.
Couldn't find any detail, how long is that trial?
From their FAQ it looks like Amsterdam is also available. https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/speed-test-for-the-us-and-amsterdam-servers-please
I forgot it, but maybe 12 hours or 24 hours
Im wondering if that panel is based on WebVirtMgr.
