this. if your customers are in the US or UK, NL would be better. If they're in the eastern/central parts of Europe DE would probably be better
Germany is geographically slightly closer from where I live, but honestly I never noticed any drastic difference. Both locations are in terms of rl and connectivity so close to each other.

Frankfurt, because it's above sea level.
Server location play important role when you have critical application where latency may ruin the show. If you are offering shared hosting then client is interested in basic hosting and location do not play much as both location are Same for US or Out of Europe client but for client form Netherlands will go for Amsterdam.
we all know that frankfurt is in germany and amsterdam is in netherlands. so why not just say Frankfurt OR Amsterdam ?
