Can you do it?
So my school (as part of my GCSE Computing class) set us the task of finding the hidden code in this message. It took me about a week to find it, but I was wondering if that was average or not. The image was sent to us via E-Mail, and I uploaded to imgur. The link is http://i.imgur.com/Pz1vcFX.jpg . {EDIT: Made it slightly more obvious and easy...}

Interesting.
OCR?
Neither OCR (if you can call it a method), QR or headers gave me something...
I want to find this out
OCR being an exam board which offers GCSE Computing.
By a week do you mean 2 minutes a day for a week, or 24 hours a day?
no clue o_o pls tell
Steganography ?
His name is Ben Blumenfeld... that's all i got
Got it
Answer + another message in here
Is it a file that's hidden ?
Unzip it
Not from what I can see, not at least in the same way the message was in the original image - can you PM me with how you did it?
Nah I didn't really figure it out I just thought I would confuse everyone further :P
I have no idea how to find the secret.
Made it slightly easier - New image on original post - Think I'm gonna reveal it on the 10th as I have a day off that day and will have time to explain it.
Offtopic, but anyone do A level Computing this year?
Found it.
PM'd it to you.
@gibster: Is it a code or messages?
I found "is it in here?" and "(once again, congratulations)", but that's probably wrong.
pls tell me
Just doing GCSE. Is pretty shit xD
If you want f*cking hard but "omg it makes so much sense now" riddles, this is the site to go to: http://www.3564020356.org
Very oldschool, just as I like it
Or another oldschool riddle site: http://notpron.org/notpron/
If someone want's to improve various hacking skills, I can highly recommend http://hacking-lab.com (they also had a fun easter challenge this year). You can find stuff about reverse engineering, SQL injections, cryptography, steganography, some fun challenges, exploiting stuff and more - everything built up as competitions and real humans will correct the solutions you send in.
Whats the pass man
That's the easiest riddle on the site
Shit, cant figure it out
Hint?
The days of GCSE IT, there's nothing they taught you back then that actually matters. Learned more when actually doing a job than I did being taught in any A-level / GCSE Class.
So, when solving riddles, you need to observe everything. There aren't many pages on this site that are available before you login. So, the password must be in one of those few pages.
Here's the hint: "Use the source, Luke"

Come on, it's not that hard. As @deadbeef said, "the password is in one of those pages."
I put the password for the 1st one here: http://pastebin.com/mGC5NqF0
