Couldn't resist - nice KVM offer. To think my first $15/yr was a 128 OvZ...now $15/yr gets me 256 KVM.

Not this time. Which location regarding DDoS protection?

  • Whats determined as CPU or I/O intensive tasks? Mining or something?

Nice! I wish more providers would offer that because it sucks getting stuck with some of the templates that some have.

  • @Spazzly said: Whats determined as CPU or I/O intensive tasks? Mining or something?

Yes, anything that uses a large amount of disk I/O or CPU time for long periods. However CPU is semi-dedicated as there is enough for everyone.

Any way to specify what node we are on? I require high cpu clock speed such as E3

  • No CPU intensive tasks (burst allowed). No I/O intensive processes. What's the point of the VPS then?

    found it

  • I purchased the OVZ 256 Special plan using the promo code but I still got 256MB instead of 512MB RAM as mentioned above. How can I get the "Double RAM" promo applied?

  • @varwww said: No CPU intensive tasks (burst allowed). No I/O intensive processes. What's the point of the VPS then?

That policy is in place on pretty much any VPS provider because the resources are not dedicated to you. If you need dedicated resources then you need a dedicated server.

It is manually applied within 24 hours.

    Thanks.

I wish I could order more but the coupon code only valid once per client :)

Depending on which plan you want we may be able to offer it more than once, open a ticket for more info.

  • I test this vps,the I/O is very bad.
    dd bs=64k count=4k if=/dev/zero of=test oflag=dsync
    4096+0 records in
    4096+0 records out
    268435456 bytes (268 MB) copied, 515.288 s, 521 kB/s

This site have 7 day money back guarantee ,but I still can't get The refund.

If you are the same person, as stated on the ticket it looks fine on the node (400Mbps+). We can move your VPS to another node if you want.

I just say what I'm in.
    When I owned it , it's poor.
When the question is raised, it becomes better.
    Why?
Why don't you give it a good first?

Not sure what you mean, like I said it's fine:

    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 10.5509 s, 102 MB/s

Don't use oflag=dsync, it gives an unrealistically low result. Use conv=fdatasync instead.

  • Will you release KVM in the US ?

  • @Winne said: Will you release KVM in the US ?

That's what happens when you dispute a payment with PayPal. It withholds the payment due so we cancel your account.

If you want your VPS back, then close the dispute immediately.

  • No ipv6 in NL?

We have IPv6 in NL now. Will be provided to customers shortly.
