Anyone know a good web host that has servers in Hawaii
Comments
RR and the other major players have DCs there, and there are a bunch of cables connecting Asia-HI-LAX - Though IIRC power is expensive (not more than EU though) and BW is expensive compared to mainland.
I try some research and maybe report back.
EDIT: maybe worth a try, but probably expensive: http://www.drfortress.com/cloud-compute/free-trial/
https://cloudsigma.com in partnership with DRFortress offers cloud services in the Hawaii (see https://www.cloudsigma.com/locations/)
I think NexHost is based in Hawaii. You might want to PM nexmark to see if he can hook you up.
Has anyone built a major datacenter in Guam yet? God knows there are enough cables going through there =p
re: cloudsigma, when I switch the location to Honolulu, the total cost jumps to > $300, vs $11-$14 for the other locations... pricing diff for Honolulu or just an error?
