Looking for cheap VPS for personal VPN

Hello

Like in the topic

I am looking for cheap VPS to use as a personal VPN in EU

the specs are not so important it could

Port speed 200 - 500 Mbps
2 TB bandwidth
1 IPv4 (or NAT if I will be able to run wireguard)
virtualization preferably KVM but not required
location europe but keep in mind that I am looking for my privacy so... not so strict country please, on the other hand I will be use that server to perfectly legal stuff.

If you PM the order #, can upgrade you to 2TB bandwidth in any of the EU locations,
min. 256MB plan, should work with wireguard

NAT VPS is probably better in this case, as there's multiple people using the same IPv4 (so amy traffic from that IP is not definitively from you), compared to all your traffic coming from an IPv4 that's directly linked to your server.

Thanks. Like a page from @Francisco 's book, we're all out of stock right now as of this morning. New node should be online in another couple of weeks.

Still got some Finland big-boys available, but I doubt OP wants a 4-20GB VPS, ha.

Any 256MB+ KVM should do, if the kernel has the wireguard module.
OVZ should do too, but its more complicated.

But the host will definitely know their traffic right?

Yeah, but that's the case with any VPS. To be truly private you need a dedicated server, and even then the provider likely do some sort of DPI to try and prevent outgoing DoS attacks and things like that.

but at that point you need to stop and think about what you're trying to protect yourself from. Most people's fears of the government spying on them or something like that are usually overblown and they really don't care about what you're doing as an individual person, assuming you're not trying to hack the NSA or something like that.

Are Russian VPS safer when used as VPNs (DMCA ignore)?

Very much depends on the provider.

No, but if you're in China, as @bruh21 linked, then yeah, JustHost apparently can go through their firewall, hence why mjjs love it.

    Not a right.
Of course they cannot skip real crime activity such a terrorism, drugs etc. They cooperate in full with other countries.
As for media activity there a Cinema production companies all upload their movie history into YouTube and earn with Pay per view from YouTube. Everyone watching movies for free and no piracy needed. Also with music and TV serials, artists upload their media content and get paid per view. That way much more reliable that track kids who move thir media files to each other.
