If you really need NVMe, it's more expensive:

If you're okay with any kind of SSD, there are plenty of options:

    Good luck :)

But you know that Hetzner doesn't have a datacenter in AMS or FRA?
It is slightly more expensive to run a big datacenter in AMS or FRA than in the middle of Bavaria. ;)

Ok ok :) Best Location for me would be between FRA and AMS, but there are no DCs between there :/

You both are right. I need to compare and do some SSD vs NVMe benchmarks and decide then, what it is worth to me. In my mind, i did already had a slower NVMe provider, than one with a standard SSD Setup.

Ehm, you ever heard of DUS (Düsseldorf, near Cologne)? :)

It is geographically nearly exactly in the middle between FRA and AMS and actually is another good place with several well-known datacenters.

I could recommend First Root (aff link). They have a good reputation here on LET and from my personal experience they provide really reliable service with great support at a fair price. They continously improved their network and peerings during the last couple of months and I am very satisfied.

If you can increase your initial budget and accept regular SSDs, their KVM Power Edition Pro could be interesting for you.
For 7 EUR/month (excl. VAT) you will get:
3 Cores, 4 GB RAM, 150 GB SSD, 5 TB traffic
