Is it really recurring with no limit?

  • Thank you for sharing. Was looking for backup storage for a while!

Just ordered it. The 'contract' runs for 12 month but is billed monthly. I am pretty sure the price is recurring for the next period.

Cool. What kind of speed do you get? Is it application based access? Or something else?

You get ftp/sftp - rsync - webdav & web interface.
No Samba/Cifs, so no mounting which is a shame.

I get a steady 10/11MB/s using filezilla thats on the max 10 uploads.

  • @OsirisBlack Can you share a screenshot of the web interface? I would love to see.

If you go to their Wiki - its all there under BackupHD.

  • Ok thanks! over all are you enjoying it?

  • For 10T storage with no bells or whistles - It's all good. Kind of reminds me of OVH's attempt with Hubic but with better upload speeds :)

Hubic was horrible, I remember using it once for a client. Nowhere you can cancel the service. And shit upload/download speeds. Never used it again.
