You express support by spamming in another providers thread?

He/she wouldn't be expressing much support soon. He posted an offer without being a provider.

  • Since a few have asked, Test file http://103.195.102.211/1000mb.test.zip is on 10gbps port

  • can you allow customs iso installation, for example, freebsd?

Same, signed up to comment about the bad Miami test link, might as well leave a tiny review also.

Signed up for service (2GB/40GB/1Gbps KVM @ Miami) with them anyway, and everything seems ok. Double disk space ticket was answered fairly quick, within 5-10mins I think. The control panel is unique, and it took a bit to figure out how to enable VNC and upload an ISO.

On Frontier FiOS in Tampa, 150/150 and no problem maxing those out. Pings under 20ms in most cases. Family in Miami also, obviously, have good pings and speed.

Pings to my Hetzner Cloud VPS in Finland average 120-130ms, and transfer speeds are above acceptable for the distance.

    CPU is: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v4 @ 3.60GHz

  • Welcome aboard, sir.

You can add your own iso and install anything you want.

  • Here is a benchmark of our 512mb plan. This one is in Miami. Other locations perform the same except for the network speed. 1gbps vs 10gbps.

Hm, but still quite interesting what is ment to be a "leading" provider nowadays. I myself would think of a "leading" provider if they invented something new and other major providers are following. However.

Another interesting definition: 99.99% uptime guarantee. Usually this guarantees less than 52.5 minutes outage over the whole year. However according to their ToS "downtime is measured past 10 minutes after notification of network failure". So 5x 10 minutes downtime means 0 downtime? Sounds a bit like the definition of "delay" by the German national railway service (a train is delayed if it is delayed by more then 5 minutes and 59 seconds, i.e. a train delayed by 5 minutes isn't delayed).

Is it also known who is hiding behind that website? Is it a real company (or just a single person), is it a registered company, where is the company registered, does it have a physical address? Sounds like trivial questions but I couldn't answer them from their homepage.

I am not questioning the existence of this provider. They might also provide decnet service. Maybe it is just my paranoia if I get a strange feeling when somebody wants to make money and hide himself at once.
