  • Can't go wrong with Hetzner.

    Nice pipes

  • Check out NFOrce.Com , WorldStream.Com and M247.RO too ...
there's many more good providers in Europe but these providers have rock solid services ...

  • Thank you, will check. I heard WorldStream hosts gambling, porn, scam, spam. I thought their network is dirty and blocked everywhere.

Nobody voted for my current provider Online.net. Looks like their network is really poor.

m247 and rock solid should never be in the same sentence.

I could vote for Online.net, been a happy customer for the last 3 years, but I won't vote as I haven't tried out the other services.

  • Have used OVH for a long time and very happy with them.

As a package which includes price, network, hardware and support. Hetzner.

I rent several dedi servers/vps in online.net and Scaleway. Subjectively, feels like budget volume network. I think to move to Hetzner.

well for me it was good but yes different people can have different experiences with same provider.
However, thanks for making it clear :)

Of course, what do you expect from a Budget provider? Budget network.

This is low end talk after all. Budget is basically implied :)

OVH, as long as it's not down, not down on IPv6, not partially down on IPv6, and you are not on a server with fucked network speeds (there's an unlucky bunch that some got...) Aside from that, it works very well!

  • I have use online.net for 2 years. Cheap and fast. Using for torrent only. Want to try hetzner but not allow public torrent. :( I like the hetzner hdd. So big.

  • I've seen lots of positive feedback from Egypt regarding Hetzner.

Maybe. But seems like Hetzner has longer pings to Dubai.

Try the looking glass of Etisalat (local provider).

    This.

online.net is just as bad about acknowledging issues on their end about the network though.

I still remember the time when they only had some Gbps available, I was only able to get 100KB/s (thier test file -> my home)

Leaseweb. Not a LET provider at all, yet it is what it is.

Since we are on LET, Hetzner is "premium" and OVH is "brb our DC is on fire - but hey we're big and cheap" (Online.net is more or less there too. just at a different scale)

Is it just me or did you forget to add netcup?

Anyway given these choicds I'd go for hetzner. Why? Reliability.

OVH SGB is superior to others if you target EMENA

Hetzner has a superior network quality, hitting the gauranteed 1 Gbit/s every time. Props to Hetzner.

I wonder why @Clouvider wasn't thrown into this round yet. :)

It was/is to expensive for me to maintain a VPS directly with them but after the last BF-deals I could grab two affordable VPS from InceptionHosting (@AnthonySmith) and VMHaus (@vmhaus), both located in Clouvider's DCs.

From my experience the network connectivity is really great. It is by far not the cheapest you'll find (thus still affordable) but you definitely get a feeling about where your money is invested. :) They have a good mix of upstreams. Usually I always find certain connections where bandwidth is limited somewhere, may it be a temporary congestion within the DC, the uplink to a certain upstream provider or a peering to client's ISP. For example Hetzner can be very difficult for clients in Germany due to known reasons. With my Clouvider machines I am actually still searching for a real network bottleneck. :) I'm very satisfied so far and from what one might read here on LET I might not be the only one. :)

looks like 110+ is some of the best possible in EU.

Personally, I was happy with online, for the 2 Eur I paid it was more than stellar.
