Looking for lots of small VPSes in any location

Looking for lots of small VPSes in any location

TomTom Member

Hi all,

This request is similar to my last request, but I need a whole new set of boxes because my requirements have changed.

First up, the boxes will be sending out alot of ping requests, their sole purpose is a monitoring node so if you're not okay with this here's your chance.

Specifications I am looking for:

  • 1x IPv4 (I won't need to be listening on any specific ports)
  • 1x IPv6 (native) (read: if it's an "exotic" location and there's no v6 post it anyway, I am interested!)
  • Reverse DNS on v4 & 6, doesn't matter if manually set, I am only going to be setting it once.
  • 256mb (preferably 512mb) of ram
  • 5GB disk space. I don't care, enough to store the OS and a small executable.
  • KVM or LXC. (Want to avoid OVZ if I can, if only OVZ is available in a location I'll take it)
  • A decent amount of bandwidth, >300gb, preferably around the 500gb-750gb mark. (Having the option to upgrade is nice aswell)
  • Location doesn't matter - I need them all over the world ;-)

Now, for the budget. I want the locations to be all over the world, so I know I have to adjust my budget depending on the location. For US and EU, I'd like to keep it under $4/m, up to $6/m For other locations ("exotic?"), I'd like to keep it under $7/m, up to $10/m.

You're welcome to PM me offers, and I encourage test IP's/looking glasses to be PM'd. Please (if you're a provider) state in your reply whether you have v6 and rDNS. If you're a provider with a nice offer and multiple locations I am interested in I'll probably buy all of them :).

Thanks all!

We offer 4 locations in the US and 1 exotic location (Hanoi, Vietnam).

  • For India, Lightsail or DO will be the cheapest option.

OneProvider's OneCloud will give you around 30 locations each for $5, some $10. Every VPS comes with atleast 512Mb RAM, 20GB SSD, and 1TB BW. Also you can do massive payments for your whole fleet of servers since they renew at the same date. Their plans are KVM but unfortunately they don't have IPv6.

It depends what you consider 'exotic' - how about the Isle of Man? :)

I can do you the following:

    512MB RAM
    10GB SSD Storage
    1 CPU CORES
    1TB Transfer
    1 IPv4 Address

No IPv6 just yet and manual rDNS is fine. I can do the above configuration for £2.50 per month for you (and anyone else who wants one) :)

Hey Tom, a bit more information that may help.. I have some information on my site about the datacenter, but not as much as the company I use currently to obtain servers from. (No, I do not own my own hardware but I've been with Reliablesite since 2013 and pay for the server yearly.)

Here's some information about the datacenter if you're interested.

The way AWS EC2 does "CPU credits" is odd. If you need a lot of CPU then I'd avoid them. If you don't then I think they are a great option, with some unique locations at a good price too.
