Looking for a new seafile node with 500GB space.
Would be using it for personal long-term use to replace dropbox/google photos so would love a stable/reputed host.
Was considering ZXHost's deal here https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/115687/let-storage-1-1tb-storage-eu or SpeedyKVM's DAL-STOR-60 but I just need 500GB, so am wondering if I could pick it up for less.
Thank you!
edit: went with speedykvm with the 30% off deal in the end. Thanks to all who replied

I've personally got to vouch for @vmhaus amazing services

Amazing services and support.
There is SpartanHost also for $10
https://billing.spartanhost.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=86
Only 512MB RAM however and single core again.
I know its a lot more than your $40/yr budget but $40 is going to be hard
Maybe @cociu can put on some magic?
Or [Alternatively] you could just go with Prometeus 'Managed seafile' branded 'iwsea' (currently on sale)
http://www.prometeus.net/site/iwsea.php
39 euro/ yr gets you their 400GB plan (currently discounted)
Or just Start with the 24Eu/yr 200GB and upgrade later.
I used it without any hiccups for a year.
Plug: Prometeus takes your privacy seriously.
They've been in business for almost 20 yrs.
They do seafile upgrades for critical vulnerabilities,
and take regular ZFS snapshots of the data volumes too in case the worst happens to the hostnodes.
Considering how much disk you'd need to store all those 'versions' of seafile content (if your content changes frequenly) + space for offsite backups, IMO it's a rather nice value deal.
That looks like a pretty decent deal. Only concern is that from their Romania servers it comes to 350ms ping to me. I might still give it a go, are versions not part of the 400GB disk space?
Thanks for the suggestions too, @sanvit and @GenjiSwitchPIs -- however, at $10 a month, they cost more than the 1TB offers I'm otherwise considering
I believe : No. Only the space used by current version of your files is counted IIRC. (confirmed)

OP is looking for options less than ZXHost's $48/yr 1TB KVM and you suggest him 500GB one for $10/m. Is it really sane? Moreover SpartanHost's Storage line has been out of stock for months.
I mean no one I've seen does $40/yr 500GB.
I thought they celebrated their 20th Anniversary in May with no any discount given, what a shame .
It could be true, don't really remember that, but neither such type of special offers nor any other regular storage ones are available from them for now. Actually the KVM40 40% off code is still valid and that's it.
Unlikely, not 2GB/500GB KVM based ones within this budget anyway.
You actually could for 30% less, but with 3 year payment in advance. Their DAL-STOR 60 plan (2.6GB/1TB) is $100 for 3 years w/ BUYKVM36MO code.
