6GB RAM VPS with good connectivity to Latam
Hello.
I'm looking for these specs on Miami preferred (I want less than 100ms to Latin America):
- 4 - 6GB RAM
- 50 GB SSD min.
- 3 TB min @ 1 Gbps
- KVM preferred (OVZ could be an option if cPanel works fine)
- cPanel license (lower price than Buycpanel)
IPv6 is not important (this is South America). I'm a web designer and I want to host some client websites including email (no spam of course).
The chepeast I can find :P

@ishaq
LA is a vast territory to my knowledge, so any specific location would be helpful I guess.
@imok I think that @vapornode and @qps can help you...
Is SSD a hard requirement? We can do large amounts of cached HDD storage instead.
We could do this in Tampa, FL however the latency can be slightly over 100ms in some areas (far south, western).
IIRC OP is from Peru @bersy
We at owned-networks.net provide KVM and OpenVZ out of Miami, which is great for LATAM.
I'll take HDD if SSD plans doesn't cover my needs.
Can you all give me a price and test ip, please?
I have a plan in GestionDBI located in Atlanta and the latency is 80-90ms in Peru . I don't know if they offer cpanel, but the network is great.
Another option is a BuyVM's Slice, the latency is 100-110ms, cpanel for $15.
I got it in a promotion (GestionDBI):

The same here for GestionDBI
Atlanta works fine too, just found that Miami is better and a little more expensive.
I have a NAT VPS with @davidgestiondbi and it works really great.
I see he has Miami but I can't afford $40 for an OVZ VPS
These are the ones I think would be great for the average 100ms
Vultr 60GB SSD $20.00/month (Miami: 90ms) I am hosting the website of a government institution, eight months without problems. But I will move the site to a BuyVM Slice.

BuyVM KVM Slice 4096 $15.00/month (New York: 100-110ms) I have tried it is simple, fast, good support, and very stable. I'll be moving customer websites here.

BudgetNode KVM-4 $21.99/month (Miami: 92ms) I'll get one very soon. Has good reviews.

IncredibleVPS - 4G €6.50/month (Miami: 95-100ms) I do not have reference of them, but they have an active promotion.

IMO best latency providers for LATAM: HiVelocity and Quadranet
+1 for VaporNode
Yes, I have small servers from their resellers, but not well known. Working well by the time.
some areas (far south, western).
+1 for VaporNode.
@vapornode you are in Miami ? Dc?
Latency to nota ?
We are in Hivelocity's datacenter in Tampa, FL. This is 6ms from NOTA - Hivelocity has a POP there.
bro, HiVelocity you said, now this is a whole other level.
Good to know.... I don't knew abou this....
Check out HostUS offer on lowendbox. Like 60 dollar a year for 6gb 4cpu openvz
