How are we different from the rest?

Very rare to see cheap deals in the UK! Thanks for the offer!
I am wondering why there isn't more interest (more posts) in this offer. I didn't heard anything special bad about httpzoom and as it seems they provide decent service in decent DC for really low price. My only obstacle not to order (their xen package) is that I have two VPSs on same location from some other known LEB company however I am tempted more and more to snag one of their vps too..
Spirit,
We are new to the lowend VPS world so right now we are just quietly plodding along gaining good reviews without making massive waves.
I was really happy when last time we did an offer and lots of people were posting good reviews about the IO.
To be honest we've seen an upturn of people going over to the parent company httpsimple and ordering premium products so we are happy to keep putting the offers out there.
Indeed a nice offer, bought one yesterday. Perfect for vpn. Instant and friendly support when I asked them to enable TUN/TAP. Good peering too.
I wasn't going to say anything in this thread... But are these new servers the same as last time?
I have run a DD test several times over the last ~18 hours and this is the best result that I have:
16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 37.3743 s, 28.7 MB/s
Hoping it settles down a bit so I can add you to my review list!
Bluboy,
Should be much faster than that.
Which package are you on?
James
Here the questions from other thread, since I didn't receive an answer there:

Is it an error or proper behaviour that the close15 code is not working with it?
On your http://billing.httpsimple.com/terms.php site you have outdated link to your aup
http://www.httpsimple.co.uk/aup
Hey Dannix,
No discount codes will work with these new Openvz packages. Quite simply we believe for the bandwidth level they are cheap enough!
Our webdevelopers have been redevloping httpsimple.co.uk and the billing portal so I'll ask them what is going on regards to the aup and tos
I've fixed the tos and aup problems with some redirects until they can work on the new pages on Monday.
@BluBoy, If you are looking for higher performance I'd go for our Xen packages on the SAS hard drives.
These drives are SATA running via hardware raid.
I'm looking at the Raid card and it appears there are some issues with it or a drive. We'll be emailing all customer's as its going to take around an hours downtime to get into the raid bios and check some settings.
This will be done late one night so the effect is minimal.
Ended up being a drive that was failing, but hadn't failed yet.
We've had it replaced and hopefully the Openvz node 1 will be back up to full speed soon.
@httpzoom, thanks for your answers. Since this offer would be great for a VPN, I have few more questions:
Thanks,
dannix
Dannix,
Yes to both!
James
Would anyone be more interested in this product with Quarterly or half yearly payments?
sure would!!
£1.90 per qtr now activated! Thats 63pence a month!
Guys,
Only difference is QTR payments will get 200gb bandwidth.
Do you offer the 128MB one in quarter too?
Bought a second one. Support instant, and HE ipv6 tunnel with London endpoint is great. Top stuff.
@Yomero
On request we can.
@Bobby
Currently we do not support IPV6 IPs, however I'm glad your tunnel is working correctly!
Seems like a decent offer
