[not working solution] 5 year WildCard SSL for 0.1BTC (~37usd)
Hello guys,
I recently made a guide for a guy asking an affordable WildCard SSL cert (lowendtalk.com/discussion/38297/any-affordable-wildcard-ssl#latest)
Since is pretty cheap I thought you would also like me sharing this with you, is an imgur album I made with love using paint (who needs photoshop?).

After that, just go to this link (which has a pretty good guide) to reedem the code just bought!
Edit: Title edited, was missing the pricepoint in USD and years of the WildCard SSL.

To save people some time 0.1 BTC is about $37 at the moment.
Thanks, save my day.
How can they sell it too cheap?
How can they sell it too cheap and still make profit?
By using a computer rather than employing humans to generate random numbers for certificates.
How can I buy some Bitcoin with PayPal?
I think @lewissue sells bitcoins through paypal....

Just for other people who don't have Bitcoin, https://www.issl.asia/5-years-wildcard-ssl-certificate.html (the place with the guide) sells it for PAYPAL at only $50/5years. Might be worth it if you don't want to deal with bitcoin. Still very cheap $10/annually for wildcard.
Oh god no.
Let me know if you want buy some bitcoin from me,
I want to convert my bitcoin to fiat
You're both dragon
We are both dragonfolk.
There is no technical reason whatsoever, that would cause a wildcard cert to cost more than a single-domain one. The insane prices we have now on them, is purely profiteering and a ripoff. Hopefully this b/s will all end rapidly as soon as https://letsencrypt.org/ launches.
For that same reason btw, I'd suggest save your $37 and wait till next summer, use some free StartSSL certs in the meanwhile.
You can't except if the person you are buying from trusts you totally, since PayPal transactions are reversible but blockchain isn't.
why must bitcoin? lol
That's a good deal, does anyone knows if there would be an opportunity to create the certificate again in the future if needed? (openssl bug or security issue)
Thx
Does anyone know how much time it takes to get the reg link after payment? It's been over 24 hours. How can I contact with them? Can't find any contact address on that site.
What's your domain? We can help you contact the official team.
@emdad i tinck there are a cheating, please tell us final experience

Mkay, but with SNI and unlimited free certs you can just get one per subdomain as needed.
I'm stuck at this page. Didn't even get an option to add a domain. Do you need my email? Thanks for helping me out.
I will. Let's see how it goes.......
The thing is, you pay the 0.1BTC to the address that pops out and then you get a serial number, with that serial number you can reedem the 5 year WC SSL following the second link I posted (above)
They are definitely not cheaters purchased one ssl during their insane sale and it worked like charm
I paid 0.1 BTC to the the address that pops up, but didn't receive any serial number.......
This seems quite a bit sketchy.
I think I found their email id
[email protected]
How would it differ from StartSSL then?
Fair point, then it won't differ by much. However they loudly advertise how simple and well-automated requesting a cert and getting the domain verified will be. With StartSSL right now it's still a fairly bothersome process.
