Looking for File Manager for Browser on Centos 6
Hi, I am looking for a file manager (good example is the one in cPanel), that will let me manage my files in /home/Downloads from my browser.
I need simple features like zipping, renaming, moving.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm running Centos 6 64 bit with Apache, in /var/www/ I created a symlink to access files in /home/Downloads in my browser. (reference http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/37305/make-something-public )

Try Pydio
Looks great, I've just installed it. Now I'm trying to figure out how to give a user access to /home/Downloads through it.
Check this out : http://www.configserver.com/cp/cse.html
It looks like you need to have cpanel/whm installed
filegator maybe
net2ftp .... simple ... control access through ftp...
(Not in active development but does the job)
That was the first thing I tried and when I hit login the page just keeps loading for ever.
I use SFTP so i set the port to 22.
If I use FileZilla sftp works fine so I'm not sure why Net2Ftp does not work.
Edit: Just realized net2ftp does not support sftp, gonna install ftp now.
Got it all working now with Net2FTP. Thanks.
The reason I needed this was because my my friends workplace blocks port 21/22 so he cant sssh or ftp.
Alternatively, using extplorer beside net2ftp.
