I would like to transfer my shared hosting business from lowend vps to a dedicated server.
Are kimsufis good for that ?.
Looking forward for your suggestions.

Depends on which one you are going to get
With a lot of hindsight, I would not put any business on OVH/Kimsufi. It is a time-bomb waiting to go off

Any problem with their Network or Hardware ?.
Please Google this site for IG, there are tons of threads about it
It*
It's their support. Your box may go offline and it'll take 24 hours to get a response.
That's fine if you're using it for personal stuff. But for a business...no.
I thought you were building your own datacenter anyway.

Network and hardware is fine as long as you do not need urgent support. Their automated tools are very good.
The issue arises, with hosting clients. You can't control what they do. Any abuse either outgoing or incoming will likely take you offline for a period of time. More often than not permanently with the only option available to perform a reinstallation.
Your competitor can easily put you out of business by launching a simple DOS/DDOS attack against you.
@raindog308
It was not for me.
Its for cyberparkkerala.org
@ShardHost
So what you suggest ?.
Any Recommended Low Cost Provider ?.
We could offer you an atom for it.
rds100 also has an atom offer, his being cheaper.

For 8.99 EUR/month? No.
@Raindog308
I could afford up to $50.
Looking for a stable and cheap box.
Why you will jump from a vps to a dedi?
@netomx
Its a OpenVZ Server,
I just need to move to my own box.
I don't find the need for it, but the cases are different.
@adarshv
$50 opens you up to a world of decent dedi's.
WholeSale Internet $39 L5420 comes to mind, and the standard @qps offerings
@netomx
Provider is ChicagoVPS.
If i can't find any good box.
I will for Prometeus KVM
@jkr1711 $39 or $54 ?.
@adarshv mine too and it has been flawless, I'm not gonna pay more for the same thing
@netomx
I can't afford another data lose
They always tell lies, Never say whats really happening.
Surely it'd be cheaper just to back the stuff up to a couple of LEB's?
@adarshv those sites you want to be hosting - will this be for customers from India? Most viewers from India? Ping around to see which location gives you better connectivity from India.
when they say the server is running, it probably is so..
I host with CVPS for quite sometime, and i have very decent uptime and good performance. dataloss can happen with any provider ( even if u have dedi/ have raid).
you must probably look into mirroring / syncing to a different location
OpenVZ is no way inferior, when you have it from a reputed provider who knows how to manage it.
@adarshv dont bother with OVH completely ... a single abuse report can shut you down for good.
OVH doesnt really care, and although we have servers there, we are canceling that location completely.
@adarshv Use promo code 15OFF
@rds100
I don't give much priority for latency. Just need a stable and cheap provider.
@peppr
I use cvps for about 7 months.
I have uptime around 100%.
Currently Mirroring data to another vps every 24 hours.
Still ....
