VPS request: high performance CPU, network, SSD, US West, KVM if possible.
Hello LET! First off, I'm quite new posting here, but I've been looking around the forums and LEB for a while now.
I'm looking for a VPS for a web hosting service. Ideally, I'm looking for high performance:
- Good CPU (either dedicated cores or guaranteed no overselling), 2+ cores (4 preferred). Obviously, the newer the CPU the better!
- Great network with fast uplinks and low latencies (ideally 1Gbps but this doesn't matter to me as much as the quality). Bandwidth, around 1TB to be safe but I'm very flexible here
- 2GB+ RAM (4 preferred)
- SSD preferred
- West coast location highly preferred (ideally Seattle, followed by SJ/SF, then LA)
- KVM preferred as well (mostly due to overselling issues/guaranteed resources mentioned above, but also for better security/isolation)
I'm willing to spend around $10USD, or more if you tick all the boxes (up to maybe $15).
Let me know if this is something that can be done. If my budget is not reasonable, let me know and perhaps give me an offer with some compromises!
Again, to reiterate, I'm new here (and somewhat to the business in general), so comments/criticism are welcome
Thanks!

Can take a look at my sig for some good quality KVM VM's in Los Angeles, fits your budget perfectly.
Ramnode but might break your budget.

Thanks! Looks pretty good. What are the CPU/network specs? Also, is the storage SSD or HDD?
Edit: Nevermind, found some of the info I wanted on your site
Yeah, definitely. Their servers on the lowest end of my spec list are around $20
I've heard good things about them though.
Prometeus could be good too.
http://www.prometeus.net
We offer SATA-3, our network is 1Gbps Public Network Port and you will most likely be hosted on our Intel Xeon E5-2670 2.6Ghz [up to 3.3Ghz].
Prometeus has Xen and KVM cloud VPS, as has been already mentioned, but location is Dallas. If Texas is OK, check also @drserver dedicated CPU Xen VPS https://drserver.net/abusive-cores.
https://www.dediserve.com is a viable option too, intensive CPU operations are allowed.
Seems Alvotech LEB KVM offer is still available, though I've never tried them personally.
HostHatch offer KVM 2GB RAM, 3 CPU (3.5GHz+), 40GB SSD, 3TB BW @ 1Gbps (aff link) in LA for $14/m, their LG.
Thanks for the suggestions! Seems like Dr.Server and Alvotech are all 1 core though. Dediserve looks okay, but they're at the top of my price range, and I can't find many details about the specs...
Anyhow, I'm definitely not planning on maxing out the cores (I'm just going to be running a web server after all), I just don't want other neighbours' usage adversely affecting my box's performance.
E5 CPU, enterprise SSD, 250mbps uplink, am I correct @dediserve ?
PS
https://speedykvm.com/ (Incero) also offer dedicated CPU/thread KVM SSD VPS in Dallas, yearly price is 50% OFF.
@MarkTurner (Delimiter) has dedicated CPU (thread) VPS too, multiple boxes can be combined together, but location is Atlanta.
Check also https://www.vpeasy.com/ (another VersaWeb's project, like UltraVPS.com), though I've never tried them too, they are in Las Vegas.
@Awmusic12635 do you have a KVM VPS in Seattle?
Yup, I have a VM right now with Impact and it's holding up pretty well (shout-out to them for that)! I'm just looking for other options to see what's out there. My only gripe with Impact VPS right now is that their CPU performance isn't where it can potentially be given the usage on each node.
I'm also trying out a VM on Wable (just ordered today), and so far it's been pretty good as well! I just found their powerpack offer; it'll be really tough to beat that. Currently, with Wable I'm getting 5 cores, 6GB for $8/month.
@bersey
We run HP BL460C G8 Blades, with 2 E5-2660V2 Processors per blade and 256GB RAM. Storage is HP D2220sb Storage Arrays running 12 HP 900GB Enterprise SSDs in RAID 50.
Any questions just let me know
So I would rather opt for Dediserve, that's value for money. Moreover they provide 50% recurring OFF from time to time, it appears probable this Xmas will no exception @dediserve? Otherwise you are going to have to check their news http://news.dediserve.com/ waiting when they open an another location and provide an another 50% OFF.
We (finally) open our Jakarta cloud shortly, and will have a 50% special to celebrate, if the need is imminent, we're always good for a promo code on DM
For example I purchase a 2GB plan then decide to upgrade to 4GB later on. Would the 50% recurring discount apply to my resource upgrade as well?
Will the 50% apply to all locations though.
Not sure why I didn't get notified of the mention. Not yet, we do have some dedicated resource KVM in dallas but it isn't within LET pricing.
Yes
No
More cores = more money.
If you dont mind EU hosting our KVM hosting plans start from $6.05
looking forward to your offers in Jakarta!
no chance, no one is gonna give you 2 cores for $10 maybe a shared core or oversold thread.
also remember Both L series and E5 series offer terrible single thread per core (L series is much worse about half of e5)
@starservices read the rules over and change your sig, please.
I have so be grateful if you can point out what I have broken, if its to deal with location it wasn't in title before hand, only rule I see I broke is the USD one which I change now.

If North Carolina works for you our DediCore range may be suitable, we can also combine or 'double up' the packages if required.
I can offer you in Los Angeles. We have 1Gbps shared network port and you will be hosted on Intel Xeon E3-1240V2 3.4GHz (up to 3.8GHz). Offer will be like below:
1024 MB RAM
40 GB SSD Cached Disk
1 TB Bandwidth
1 IPv4
$5.00 /Month
As it is a custom plan , so if you are interested then please order here :https://clients.hostbd24.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=59
Thanks.
@AshleyUk
Their plans meet your criteria, I think.
Cores are dedicated, space is generous.
https://zxplay.co.uk
Also, their $15 plan ($16.40 USD) is pretty good. 3GB of RAM, 3 dedicated cores. Fair usage unmetered 1G BW.
And, a tip for you: You should not take every suggestion we give you, we sometimes (*always) like to troll.
Thanks for the suggestions! Their servers are in Germany though, right? And it's 15 pounds not euros (so >$20)?
That is correct, Hetzner & Telehouse.
We do however have a small setup out of OVH CA, and yes our pricing is in £.
Actually, the euro dropped like **** in 2015, so 15 euros is equal to ~$16.40 USD.
