Seems nexhost got some 256MB KVM for 5.50$/yr (12 available). It's listed as "Egg", so im not providing any link. Find out yourself.

    I couldn't ever find it out -_-

    Not much better...

@jmckeag12 - any reason disk is so slow on these LA eggs?

overselling, dude... what do you expect from such a price? XD
However, even at such low price, the I/O is too low comparing to other similar providers', thus, in conclusion, this is a extremeeeeeeeeeely overselling, lol.

The Egg Plans have CPU Limits. I'm able to get 280-330MB/s on DD on the main Node.

  • It's fine for $5.50/yr KVM imo.

Egg TX was sold for $2.37-3.5/year. Mine one was succesfully recreated by @jmckeag12, thanks Mark (I guess).

  • @jmckeag12 no more Egg TX?

  • Dacentec is still in the game -

How do the Mini CPUs compare to the original VPSes?

Yes. However, not yet and we will keep current customers. Only new orders will be closed. Also MooseVZ is OpenVZ not KVM. We have a few units KVM $12/year left in Atlanta and Los Angeles. PM for more details.

Thanks, but I think that is about $6 more expensive than it should ideally be.
