$1/mo ($10/yr) 512MB Dacentec VPS in stock
https://billing.dacentec.com/hostbill/index.php?/cart/vps/
512MB
25GB HDD
1TB
Lenoir, North Carolina
Here's a little info I posted in another thread
I haven't really used it yet, but I just did an apt-get dist-upgrade and it took a noticeably longer time compared to my other VPSes

The network speeds are decent for the price, but the IP geolocates to NYC for some reason. I get 106ms ping from north UK. Not as good as NYC/NJ but not bad for US.

too expensive
kidding
I was just starting to cut back on the number of VPSes I have, but I couldn't pass this up when I saw it.
Too bad I already have a box in that DC!
is it openvz?
Yep
Not a big deal Someone offer KVM in US for same price..
@hostnoob Solus for panel? IPv6?
Yes
They use hostbill and all management is done from there. No IPv6 at least from what I can see in the control panel @dacentec
Hmm. Just ordered and it looks like I got 1 x IPv6 with mine. Neat.
Pretty good deal considering these will probably be DDoS-protected soon (once Dacentec finishes their rollout, it sounded like they're just going to throw everything behind their protection)
@Dacentec can you confirm the ddos protection part? Also can we request /64 ipv6?
I got a different spec'd box than above (Opteron 6274) running at 2.2Ghz. A tad sluggish right now, but guessing that's mostly due to a ton of new VPS's being added, updates, setting up boxes, etc.
1USD/month? I see it's 2 USD.
You missed out :-(
To bad one missed out. Seems like a nice provider. Anyone know if their IP's work with Hulu in case the offer comes back?
@Aene - Nope, doesn't work - At least the IP with my dedi doesn't work with Hulu...
does @dacentec these days has stopped replying to tickets...
Yeah they add a limited amount then stop taking orders. They should add more soon I guess.
Pretty good deal.
$1 vps restocked! *got one
Can anyone confirm whether they enable tun/tap and encfs/FUSE (or will enable them on request)?
Most likely enable on request.
Got one, thanks for the share.
how many cpu? i got 2 lol
Getting one! Thank you!
I know you said there in North Carolina. But on their checkout page it doesn't show the servers location. I think it should.
Anyways, bought the 512mb one, ty!
They only have the 1 DC, anything Dacentec does is in Lenoir, NC.
Yay, Bitcoins are accepted, got one. Thanks for share the offer! :-)
For you: http://mirror.dacentec.com/
Ya, I thought they had other locations my bad.
Signed up yesterday for the 512 plan, was immediately provisioned, and had the VPS up and running, despite some occasional slowness mentioned above. It crashed shortly after noon Eastern time today and has yet to return.
I only got one core!
Dacentec is scam?!?!?!?
