WHMCS+Paypal micropayment -has anyone done so?
We are planning to setup some relatively low priced services and was looking into multiple micro-payment solutions and found out paypal was doing it. However,
After reading whmcs and pp documentation for 3 hours, I can not seem to figure out if there are anyway to do such, for example
<10$, Micropayment,
More then 10$>regular.
Not sure if it is possible or could be done but figured no one would know it better besides LET hosters.

I think that you have to use two different PP accounts (one for micro and second one for regular). I'm not sure does WHMCS support it. We are using custom system so we just setup custom rule. Maybe you can hack DB somehow ( case when amount <= 10.00 then '[email protected]' else '[email protected]' end ).
2 paypals, copy the module with a seperate name.. And on theory it should work.
Hmm. But, don't you need two different paypal account to get thing working? Will that be supported by whmcs(2 instance of paypal gateway? )
We have microtransactions on all of our payments... We found our average sale is $3.34 per month which means on average the micropayments work pretty well for us.
Hmm are you allowed to have two paypal accounts in the first place?
One personal account and one premier account.
One personal account and one business account.
One premier account and one business account.
Each account must have its own email address and bank account.

@David_P so you can't have two business accounts (one for micropayments, one for regular payments).
Well it's a better deal under about $30 if my poor math skills are working without really figuring it out (one of us handles money, thankfully that isn't me). Most of us aren't going to have products over that. I'm half awake though so take anything I say as wildly inaccurate.
We do this.
Yes you can have a micro account and a normal account in addition to a personal account.
You will need to get the paypal module decrypted and then edit it so it works.
You cant do different payment amounts going through different gateways, however you can specific which payment gateways are available to each product.
@Httpzoom I thought you can do per group not per product?
Btw, is there anyway to transfer funds in between two verified business accounts without paying fee?
Ninja,
Sorry and I just checked and you are correct it is per group.
No way of transferring funds between the accounts, i just have two bank accounts linked.
Yes the best way is to get 2 accounts
1 for 9.99 -> microplan
2 for 10.01-> regular butt fuck plan!
Hope this will help you out!
O Gawd why! Why 2 bank account paypal!
Will we be able to add the same business card?
Nope,
You need a different bank account and card for each paypal.
