The network in Europe is good, they have their own datacenter with tens of thousands of servers. The server have an IPv6 connection as well. Delivery might take several days.

Kimsufi is still better with free DDoS Protection.
Is anyone willing to share their experience with us regarding this provider and these servers?
I had another Misurfi server with them in Juli 2013. Server was ok, but their network policy is strange.
They blocked port 23 for some IPv4 ranges outgoing, not incoming. At first I assumed i misconfigured anything, but after writing a support ticket they told me they blocked the port before anything happend for security reason.
They state this in their AGB
4.2 For security issues on servers or server network, THE PROVIDER can temporarily block ports and network segments of individual servers or network segments and the smooth continued operation of the network. This applies in particular times of attacks on the network server or single server (eg, DOS attacks, worms and Trojans).
Temporarily means permanent... They would unblock the port, but only with good reason.
Thats all I can write about them. I discontinued the server after learning about such restriction.
Didn't they have a Valid Reason for the Block of Port ??
Dunno why anyone would like to use port 23 anyway, unencrypted.
TCP port 23 is Telnet (the old and unencrypted "SSH", if I need to explain)...
Nobody sane uses Telnet over the Internet today, even if someone somewhere has the Telnet port open to the Internet, it's most likely by mistake and is a security vulnerability.
They would most likely block outgoing Telnet to prevent automated scans for such vulnerabilities from their servers.
In that case, the port is not blocked temporary, but permanent. This is not stated in their AGB. If they had included: "Port 23 outgoing is blocked permanently because of ..."
This would have been totally fine with me.
Err, helloow? towel.blinkenlights.nl
Ah, 5.95EUR +VAT not included VAT and just with 160gig no DDOS protection.
But as they said: That is the minimal configuration, so hopefully we get a 500GB drive if someone orders.
It's still 100 Mbit unmetered, and hey it's not France. So not too terrible of a deal.
J1800 seems like a good deal. it supports virtualization, makes a nice test box. a good inbetween of the kimsufi ks-1 and the online.net avoton, since neither kimsufi or online.net have a virtualization compatible server for ~10EUR
What do you mean by that? The page seems to clearly lists 160GB as the included disk size, not "at least" 160GB. Have you heard/read something about them giving larger disks than ordered?
@user123 just read?

"The server is equipped with at least an Intel Atom CPU and a 160 GB hard drive. "
facepalm lol. If someone signs up and gets a 500GB drive, I'd definitely consider it :P
very nice share.. thank you. another one on my list to try.
actually anybody know about their validation process? do they need a scan of your passport?
