edited April 2015 in Requests

Just looking for some machine to play with (then move my stuff from VPSs to the dedi, of course after somet testing). Budget would be around $40-$80 (Would be willing to pay some one-time fee to reduce monthly budget to around that) Preferably below $60/mo

Processor: Doesn't have to be E3 just needs to be equivalent w/ it.

RAM: 16GB

IPv4: /29

IPv6: /64 (optional)

Bandwidth: 10TB

HDD: 2x1TB HDD

Location: Atlanta/East Coast area.

  • There is this unit:

    E3-1225, 8GB, 1TB 100Mbps Unmetered $39/m
    https://clients.delimitervps.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=164

You can add an extra 8GB for $10/month or there appears to be a promo on WHT where you can pay annually and get double RAM for free.

Looking for more options before jumping on the offer being thrown here and in my PM box.

Would most likely get a machine ordered by Sunday morning (EST). Thanks for offers so far guys!

Oh and feel free to throw in some one-time fee onto the calculation to bring down the monthly price to around $50-$80. :-)

  • @Saiku Would you consider LA at all? I could get you a good deal on a E3 in our DC there.

  • SaikuSaiku Member, Host Rep

@OnraHost Absolutely, I guess I should've put down (Preferably Atlanta/East Coast) but yes, LA/Dallas/Chicago would also be fine.

Cool, are there going to be any more unlimited offers?

  • @linuxthefish - market research more than anything. Last month Delimiter tested one-time payments for upgrades, this month they are trying some unmetered offers.

How much bandwidth do you have in Atlanta, lots?

  • You might be able to get something around $80 from ReliableSite:
    http://www.reliablesite.net/dedicated-servers/specials.aspx

Shoot them a email, they use a good network in New Jersey.
