Your Creative Desktop OS Customization
So most people battle over the best default, boring Operation System's out there. However, there is a LOT that goes into making an OS into a usable work machine. This is especially true on Linux.
So what have you done to your host OS to make it more useful? What changes can you share with us that might help others?

I have little scripts that sync my computers together and clean up files/update :P
Nothing except some scripts for every-day actions. Yay terminal!

@tommy, I'm disappointed to see all that hard work... and yet you're using nano.
Either that or you're a beast and hacked the vim UI to look like nano.
I use nano n_n

For quick, basic edits why not use Nano?
Well I'm not that big of a graphic designer..but yeah..I like waddling with some themes on Windows 7(Don't worry..It's virtualized on a Linux Mint Box) :P
Because you can use vim.
( Nano was my first editor :P )
