Cloudlinux (cPanel) server rebooted & rebooted & ...
Hello all geeks
Recently I met a really bullsh** problem
I have a web hosting server , I did Installed cPanel / Cloudlinux / NginxCP and using for hosting.
RAM of this VM is 16GB , Hypervisor is KVM, CPU is E3-1246 v3, Also a good box for hosting less than 30 accounts.
Also I must note this , It's using for more than 6 month.
But In last 2 month ago , Server rebooted A LOT OF TIMES !
I did contact to cloudlinux support and they said installed kdump and checked , there is no crash dumps.
Also I have some problem with my root ( ~/ ) partition , It was small size for /tmp . So I move PHP session and mysql tmp to another partition and root partition always using less than 70% of capacity.
But Server reboot a lot of time.
Is there any body experience this issue on his hosting server?
Also I'm sorry about my english

What's your VM partition layout
30GB for /
390GB for /home
It's a LVM on two enterprise intel ssd.
Does the host reboot or just the guest? If just the guest, does anything display on the host console?
Run this script made by cPanel to log what is happening on the server and find out what is happening immediately before the reboot takes place.

Are you running the latest kernel?
I had KVM, same issue was happening. Later on, moved to Xen & everything solved.
Ah come on now that's cheating :P
Don't know if It's cheating or Not. But, I collected information from other Users, most of them reported this issue.
