I hope to have something like this soon on LowEndBox, I'm just waiting for a bit more information.
The last offer I remember is from @vnet http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/24831/vps-limit-the-sale-of-hk-server
but those are long out of stock.
Don't know any other low-end offers which would be still active, and currently for some reason you can find VPSes even in mainland China for cheaper than HK.
Not to mention SG or Japan - those will be massively cheaper and/or higher spec.
It's due to high costs in the region, notably the price of bandwidth. Digital Ocean, Linode, and Vultr all have Asian DCs, but not in Hong Kong. Amazon has Beijing. Microsoft Azure has Kong Kong, but it's pricey.
We still have some special plans, see it here: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/836007/#Comment_836007
EDIS?
He said a Low End price, i.e. <$7. EDIS is more expensive.
Yes,till next promo

Were working on a HK location. Should be online by April
February tomorrow, but still no Singapore location ...
Was just about to make a ticket about Singapore ETA.
Has it been pushed to Feb?
SG was delayed with some local delays on the ground, but we plan to launch in the coming week. We then launch Vienna, AT before end Feb, then Hong Kong, then Jakarta, then Sydney.
Is there any way you can spread your resource pool over each location? Or do you have to buy a pool in each location?
Thanks!
At the moment you need to have a pool in each location unfortunately. Single sign on is in the road map this year.
when SG launch let us know
We've been delayed by some critical hardware held up in Customs. Communication is 'slow' at best but we're hopeful to launch in the coming week.
In the mean time, we're working on Vienna, which will be online in 2 weeks time, and then will focus on Hong Kong.
its better to get a SG vps
@dediserve in the meantime can you give us which specs (especially bandwidth) and prices will you offer in HK and SG? Also which VM type - KVM, Xen?...
Check out https://manage.dediserve.com/cart/
We run Xen on HP Blades with all SSD Storage
So from 15 EUR/mo, really? That's not so LowEnd.
3TB bandwidth at 200 Mbps, in HK/SG too?...
@rm_ they do lowend deals as well. Just wait for launch of their sg location
As commented, we do LE deals on launch of new locations, watch this space
Yes, will be 200Mbps / 3TB with the default plan, same as all our locations.
@dediserve. I see that you have started charging vat recently. Is it only for eu citizens?
We've charged VAT since 2006 - it's applies automatically on Checkout for non Tax registered EU billing addresses.
Okay, thanks for clarification
(When you pick your location in the checkout form, the cart will update to show the correct EU VAT if applicable, or none if it's an ex EU location
(likewise if you are in the EU, but pick Organisation and enter your VAT ID, it will remove the VAT)
hope its fast
