I've been in the forums quite a lot, if that's what you mean by 'new'.

However, I am 'new' to GVH. I've read about their uptime, but then again, I've also read about how CVPS is terrible, and I think they're pretty good for what I paid.

Beg pardon, but how did you get CVPS out of that comment?

  • @jnguyen, I have two VPS's with GVH. Can I add the PositiveSSL Certificate as an option?

Send in a ticket and we'll see what we can do. :)

I meant if you are unhappy with the service they provide and have already decided not to renew why would you want them knowing your forum name?

  • @trewq

    What?
I'm not unhappy with anyone's (GVH or CVPS) service. Unless you are referring to someone else I think you misunderstood.

  • Just got the high-RAM special for $19/yr :)

    Per quarter?

  • Just wondering won't buying two of "NATIONWIDE ALL-PURPOSE SPECIAL " be cheaper and hence more worthwhile than a single "MEGA BUFFALO STORAGE SPECIAL" on a yearly basis :O

You know I hear a lot of trash talking about GreenValueHost, however I ordered one of the Nation Wide All Purpose Specials and it looks really good to me so far.

It says $19 Annually, so that's what I get. :)

Anyway, where is this so-called "instant activation" guys!

  • I bought the Mega-Ram too. But waited for about 30 minutes, its still not provisioned.

  • where is nl datacenter?

    "Instant activation" at its finest.

You'll probably find out they're all sold.

  • @0xdragon It's actually $19/quarterly. There was an issue with the configuration, I just changed it back. If you are unhappy with the change I can cancel and refund.

  • agoldenbergagoldenberg Member, Host Rep

Mine was activated pretty much instantly @ATHK :)

If it was instantly activated I would be able to make a choice... :(

Apparently it's to do with Intel SpeedStep? http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/744349/#Comment_744349

  • Intel SpeedSteps for E5-2620 cpu's range is 1200Mhz - 2000Mhz

I had to open a ticket to enable this.

Odd, must be something else keeping the clock speed so low then... @jnguyen

@jnguyen. I never had my Mega Ram Special (which is clearly paid for) setup yet. Invoice was paid 1 hour 50 minutes ago. So much for instant activation. I also sent you a PM with the paid invoice number to which you did not respond and this is after you posted on here that all these specials had been activated.

I should of known better, so please cancel my VPS and I expect a full refund.
